It is a nice organic farm resort. The rooms are good sized with porch. There are several walking paths and places to sit and relax. Unfortunately there is no heating provision. The heater in the room didn't work. They advise against using personal kettles and hair dryers. Room service is available but till 10.30pm only. Food is very good and so is the service in the dining hall. Overall it was a nice experience.
An amazing, totally unexpected experience! I am a travel consultant and look for properties which are closer to nature, can offer neat and clean rooms and good food. I feel if basics are met, your trip is successful. EPR not just have basics right but the services are very good, staff is very courteous The owners come and meet personally to ensure guests are comfortable. Would very strongly recommend for all visiting Leh
Stayed here in June 2018. Beautiful property with great staff and service. I was told Leh is dry and the food is bland. This place proves that wrong. The property is full of greenery and the food here is great. Location is close to the main market. Would love to visit again sometime when trees within the property are loaded with fruits.
This is a good resort to stay , close to the market and has lot of apple trees and apricot, but the cons are there are few support staff hence they don't clean the room daily , you need to mention else they won't clean the room. The lunch and dinner buffet is not worth the money, you can go to market and have lunch and dinner. Since they don't clean the room daily the chances of insects specific to the large trees you can see inside the room. Value for money is there . Also not all rooms get hot water .
The Eco Poplar Resort has got a huge vegetable garden where the cook also gets his ingredients for cooking. The food is excellent, mostly better than in the restaurants in the city centre. For breakfast there is always porridge, fresh seasonal fruit, eggs and veggies, muesli etc. The hummus was grand. The rooms are okay. The water takes a while to get heated, so wait for about 5-10 minutes. From time to time some insects find their way to the room, due to the huge garden and the big apple and apricot trees. The carpets could be get rid of. They are just dust catchers. The service was extra ordinary. WIFI works in the dining hall and the reception area, but not in the rooms. In the garden you can find many sitting areas. To the Leh market it is a 20 minutes walk, which is fine. There is a library in the reception area where you can borrow books for reading. As a whole we had a great stay in the Eco Poplar Resort. Thank you for that!
Hospitality very very poor. Accept only cash and do not provide computer generated bill. Also have No GST number. Rooms are not worthy to room rent. I rate it below average.
Beautiful, unmatched setting. Ask for villas/rooms in the sunny sections. Food was good. Bathrooms can do with a deeper clean, seem to let the side down a bit.
Time of Visit: June 2018 Location: Fort Road, 15-20 Min walk from Leh Main Market If you love nature, I'm pretty much confident that you will love this place. As the name goes, this property has lots of poplar trees. Poplar trees can grow to long heights. The property is set in a great location, it has lots of varieties of plants and flowers especially apricot trees. You can spend endless days admiring them. ( unfortunately during this time, there were no apricots). The manager told us that the owner of the property allows guests to pluck the apricots. The rooms are buit like cottages, with each cottage having 2 rooms. The rooms are not that spacious, but suffucient enough with central heating system. The cottages are built around the entire property. There are pathways that take you to your rooms. There are around 20 cottages (40 Rooms) at the property. There are seating areas spread out across the property to relax and enjoy your stay. The reception and Dining Hall are at the entrance of the property. The dining hall is beautifully built with great interiors. One can feel calm and enjoy the food here. The quality of food is good and it is something that most of the guest appreciate here. Overall a Great Stay and a Recommended Property ! P.S: For all those people searching for Wifi in my review, yes Wifi works well here, although you will have to come to the reception area to access it.

Great service. Very reliable bike. I took 3 tours: Ladakh (1300km)- Jammu & Kashmir (2000km) - Manali (1000km) with the same Himalayan (LA 02 - 8511) without having any problems during the 3 trips. I highly recommend WildYak and this particular bike.
After renting bikes from Snowfinch, trust me, you will say that it is the best bike rental service in Leh. Sumangal, who helped us plan the trip, provided the best bikes after thorough inspections. He was incredibly helpful throughout the trip and ev
This trip to Ladhak curated by Thinlay at Gatpo alongside Kevin, was the best one I've experienced yet. It wasn't your regular tour that includes only touristy places but one that was whole some. They painstakingly included offbeat places like remote
