Nice place.. spread over more than thirty acres of space, various activities like target training, boating .. various swings.. varieties of plants and especially the life size models of dinosaurs, with perfect details, are attractions of the place. Only drawback I found was that the cafeteria was closed. Lots of parking space. Must visit place. Good for family trip.

Its absolutely fantastic. Picturesque garden with nice space and peaceful environment. Rose garden in winter is the cherry on the cake. The place is situated besides the national highway. Come with family and friends for fresh air and peaceful environment.

The Shaheed Nirmal Mahto park is most attractive and for all person like as kids ,Young, adults and old people . And all ages of persons to walking. This is one of the best park in Hazaribag and is located at Ranchi - Patna Highway NH 33. The giant statues -- 70ft to 80ft tall -- will include the Brachiosaurus, a species whose model will be found for the first time in India. The 80-ft model of Brachiosaurus will find company in other dinosaurs from Triassic and Jurassic eras. But dinosaurs won't be the only crowd-pullers. The park will also boast a rose garden, a children's corner, musical fountains, 25ft high artificial hills with caves, a maze and models of birds. The eyecatcher of the place will be a rose garden. Nearly 3,000 varieties of roses from different corners of the globe have found home here. Officials are also proud of an umbrella park, with the foliage of trees pruned to look like parasols. The park will also have statues of prominent leaders, including Birsa Munda, Sido and Kanhu Murmu, Tilka Manjhi, Albert Ekka and Nirmal Mahto. A theatre with the capacity to house 1,000 spectators and a cafeteria are also in the pipeline. The boundary walls of the park will also transform as canvases for sohrai paintings. Many ideas are inspired from famous parks, especially the one at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. "The construction of the park kicked off in 2007 with a sanction of Rs 4.46 crore. Fingers crossed, we hope the park will open this February," said divisional forest officer Ravi Ranjan. "More attractions like aquarium, a dragon ride and a toy train are on the cards," added Ranjan. Now, work is going on in full swing, including whitewash, pathway construction and installing of electricity connection. According to sources, not a single tree was felled while constructing the park. "The park will give a boost to tourism and provide jobs to as many as 150 persons. Eight ticket counters will be opened near the main entrance," pointed out.

Earlier it was good..but now a days u can't visit this place along with ur family as eve teasing etc has become common. More over no attention is paid on cleanliness ...statues like dinosaurs are broken no maintaince at all..need to pay more attention by the govt.
