Engineering Boys' Hostel 1 (Hmuifang Hostel) - Boy's Hostel in Aizawl - Aizawl, India

Located in Mizoram University and one of the hostels of School of engineering and technology which is the engineering department of the university most commonly being known as IT amongst the bus drivers and guards. The facilities in the hostel are good if compared with the infrastructure but won't be good for people from outside mizoram because the locals have an adaption to the surroundings food and everything,but for us we will feel like lagging basic necessities. The food quality in the mess is very pathetic. I don't know about right know but I used to stay there 2 years back. Infact I won't recommend anyone to this university except the locals . For the outsiders it will be a kind of timewaste, u will just get a degree of btech , but the value of this is not too much. But yes the engineering dept is progressing and can be opted as a last option. There is a canteen nearby . The main entrance of the univesrity is around 3.5 kms upside from the hostel. In this hostel there are some supernatural powers which might me disturbing for some. The rooms in the hostel are quite clean and spacious as well.

I have been here for almost 4 years. This hostel is the best hostel in Mizoram University campus. The rules and regulations are structured in such a way that it meets student's expectations. Food, sports and other facilities are taken seriously here.

I was there for 3 years. It was a pleasure for me to stay down there at hmuifang boys hostel. Where we can find first floor 2nd floor and ground floor. At ground floor it can accommodate three people in one room and they fast and second floor it can accommodate two persons in one room. At the top floor we have a big room Where are warden used to stay and there is a kitchen room down there at ground floor. Each and every floor we have 6 toilets and 2 bathroom. In the middle of the engineering boys hostel we have a small playground where we can play Basketball, cricket even football for six men soccer, badminton and volleyball 2 too. In engineering boys hostel you can find around 45 rooms with different accommodations of people.

A bit of old but really nice and peaceful hostel. Good electricity and wifi. Good water connections.

Very nice students, very cooperative. I lived with them 2 full days and night and I enjoyed very much with them.
