Re-created mini tribal village. From historical point of view, this gives a glimpse of how tribal houses were. 4-wheel drive from entrance to starting point is a nice adventure in itself. Located on a hill, the view is good and the walk is nice.
Can be better if it had guided narration.
This is a pretty huge and amazing place to spend few hours in. Make sure to buy the tickets online to avoid more waiting time on ticket counter and jeep delays. You will need to either share jeep with someone or you can go as a family to reach this place. Wear comfy shoes as you gotta walk a lot. They have few stalls once you reach midway to have coconut water and fruit salads etc. you can also shop in the store. All in all you might have to spends few hours here so make sure to carry a small backpack with your stuff. The place is really beautiful and you can definitely take great shots here
Nice place to sit peacefully and feel the cool breeze. Once you enter the gate you can spend the whole day there. The huts are super amazing. It wasn't really built with mud and grass roof I think but the sheet itself was covered with some grass or something. It looks real and feels the same. I just loved it, unable to spend more time due to other travel destinations. You can't drive your private vehicle there, from the downside you have to book a jeep and they will drop you there. The view above the hill was also mesmerizing.
Went with a lot of expectations as En ooru is the first conceptual exhibition of Tribal settlement demonstration. It was not wroth the hype. The constructions should have utilized for more activities or should add more things which is related to every tribe.
Better to book ticket and safari prior in online.
Good one. The view is good. Needs prior booking though. One has to wait for a long time for the vehicle which is usually congested.
Best to avoid. There isn't much to see, except for the hills of the side of this property. Visited during holidays. This place screams artificiality.
Dance and songs by tribals were the only attraction, but then it was mostly like using them as a prop.
2000 people allowed per day.
Online booking available. Need to create login credentials for booking.

From the parking slot they will take us to the top in their jeeps.
May need to wait for some time to get jeep.
Once you get into the village it may look good at the first sight. But then you realise it's just an artificial structures even without any detailings.
Have things available for purchase and some exhibition also available.
Photogenic place.
May have to wait a long for your return trip from the top to parking area.
It's the first tribal heritage village in Kerala that helps taking a glance at tribal huts.
Government of Kerala has done a good job at building and maintaining this place. The main objective of starting this heritage village is to introduce people to diverse tribal traditions. It will give knowledge to the urban dwellers about how the tribals live in their villages and what their means of livelihood are.
There is a tribal cafeteria and a market to buy souvenirs, spices and other items.
Note that private vehicles are not allowed. At least 2 kms of route needs to be travelled in the Jeep provided here. Entry tickets and jeep fare are pretty economical. Suggest to book tickets online to avoid huge queue over the weekends.
Point to note that each jeep carries 8 people so it has to be on sharing basis unless a family of 8 members is travelling.
The place is really amazing with natural beauty and as you progress towards it crowd reduces. It's not a spot but just on the way point in Vyithri side. We went specially to see the view from here
This place is a must visit place in overall wayanad. This was my first time experiencing gramaphone music, the music coming from this is so magical and live feeling. This man Mohd Shafi dedicated his life for his love for music. Hatsoff to his work,
Excellent stay offered by vista villas here. The property was really good. Well equipped. The kitchen was equipped with basics but felt few more things could be added and quality of kitchenette could be improved. Also options should be added in the b
