Empire Restaurant - Maddur - Indian restaurant in Channapatna, Mathikere - Ramanagara, India

It is one of the most famous and best on road restaurants on the way to Bangalore from Mysore. Wide parking available even 4 or 5 buses can park at the same time on the service road in front of the restaurant. Food was delicious and juices were with quantity as well as quality. As it is a famous one rates seem a bit higher but worth the taste. If you are on a road trip with friends or family you can have a try. Overall preferable.

Ambience/Infra was good. Lot of parking space available. Since the restaurant was over crowded, we had to wait outside fir 5 minutes and then cleaning tables took lot of time. We had spent 1650 for 6 people. And not much happy about the taste of food. Not recommended for vegetarians.

Halted here for break during Bus travel. Ordered Veg Biryani. Found an insect in it. Management didn't even have courtesy to say sorry for that. They didn't realize their mistake nor tried to rectify it. Instead suggested me to order some other thing. I couldn't talk anything much to them because I wasn't having much time. They aren't realizing the criticality of the issue.

We decided to eat here on our way to Bangalore based on the reviews. The food didn't have any flavour. The butter naans were dry and tough. The mutton raan and korma didn't have any flavour. The juices and mojito drinks were good. Would try another place next time.

One Of The Best Place To Have Quick Lunch On Mysore Bangalore Highway They Have Maintained The Place Clean And Tidy And The Dishes Is Served Fresh And Hot Overall It Was A Good Satisfactory Meal

The experience at this restaurant was great. We were short on time, but the order was delivered to us very quickly. The service too was great and very friendly and helpful staff. Very understanding and helpful for bikers too, they never said a word inspite we removing all our riding gears and placing on tables across and asking for phone chargers and they happily served us with all our requests. The food was amazing too. We ordered masala dosa and plain dosa along with 1/2 filter coffee. The filter coffee was just lit! Definitely a goto stop on the way to Bangalore.

The restaurants in South India have a lot of catching up to do with their counterparts in the north in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, especially of the toilets. But not for this one. All amenities at Empire Restaurant were reasonably clean. The pricing could have been better. The tastes were good although the Naan could have been baked a tad bit crispier.
