It's a great place for high tea or evening coffee. The area overlooks the swimming pool on one side and a beautiful white marbled staircase with latticed handrail and a fountain. The ambience is cosy with warm coloured upholstered furniture matching the walls. And the cutlery with delicate floral patterns adds to the rich experience. They have a wide variety of rich tea and coffee. Their aged Indian monsoon malabar coffee is my favourite!

Had been to many hotels in and outside India but found the beautiful, lovely Lounge at the Hotel Taj Mahal, Mansingh Road, New Delhi, the best ones. It is spacious and would like to sit here for hours together. Colour combination, sitting arrangements, flower decoration, sofa's, side tables, decoration items etc, all is simply the best one. One would amazed to see staircase when going down towards meeting halls, host of restaurants, poolside etc, which is beautiful and developed thoughtfully
Went here mid afternoon to relax have a snack and some coffee and tea. The prices were similar to other 5 star hotels around the world, however, the customer service was not even close to being worth the price paid. No check-in from staff. Can't believe the terrible customer service. Very disappointed.
