"The Emoor Bhagavathi temple" Adimakavu means family diety in Malayalam. We have a family diety for father's line, mother's line and similarly two such lineages from spouse side. This happens to be our visit to the Hemambika Bhagavati Temple in Kallekulangara near to Agathethara of Palakkad City. The Devi is revered as the most powerful as her hands were only displayed or viewed by the people. This temple is adimakaav to many devotees too. The pond of the temple has lots of lotus all over afloat and blossoms evenly for the daily rituals. Its worth watching as we hardly find lotus in temple ponds. We can always find a mighty Elephant named " Kallekulangara Gopalan" on standby within the temple premises and at times the elephant may be moved out for any holy processions elsewhere. The elephant can be seen in one of my photos.. "Amme Narayana Devi Narayana Lakshmi Naarayana Bhadre Narayana " are the verses chanted often in Bhagavathy's temples..

The temple looks good. It is a big temple. The temple has got a neat pond near the temple.

Coolest place. Election symbol of congress party is taken from the statue of the god
