Ellackal Bridge - Bridge in Ellackal - Idukki, India

After all the impacts due to the disasters caused by the recent kerala flood,this bridge survived it all without much problem,where ,many of the nearby bridges failed to withstand.... It wasn't made that strong i thought at first..But when it fight to all that water,even after it being overflowed by muddy water filled with rocks and trees, it was such an amazement to witness the capability of that small bridge,old enough to withstand,held it's position to help the local people to travel across the river....

Drove by this bridge on the way from Munnar to Athirappally. It had rained in Munnar the previous night and the river was in full flow. It is a very simple bridge. Nothing fancy. But the view of the fill river with the mountains in the backdrop was quite a thing to experience.

Visit here and explore nature closely. A bit more closely. Bridge is good for the view. Would suggest to enter in down valley.
