Hotel Elite Darjeeling A Disappointing Stay Review: I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at [Hotel Elite], and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish. It is with great regret that I write this harsh review, but I feel it's necessary to warn others about the subpar service and overall lackluster atmosphere that this hotel provides. Upon arrival, the reception staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, offering no warm greetings or assistance with luggage. The check-in process was slow and inefficient, leaving me waiting for an unreasonably long time. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the staff. Moving on to the room itself, it was far from the promised luxury experience. The room appeared outdated, with worn-out furniture and an unpleasant odor. The cleanliness was also questionable, as I noticed stains on the carpet and dust in the corners. The bed was uncomfortable and gave me backaches throughout my stay, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The lack of attention to detail continued with the housekeeping service. The towels provided were threadbare and had visible stains, indicating a lack of proper hygiene standards. Basic amenities, such as toiletries, were not replenished regularly, forcing me to make repeated requests to the unresponsive housekeeping staff. The overall upkeep of the room was below par, and it was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were not priorities for the hotel. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The restaurant staff were untrained and inefficient, resulting in long waiting times for both seating and food service. The food itself was bland, poorly presented, and overpriced for the quality provided. It was clear that the hotel lacked a talented chef and a well-curated menu. Moreover, the hotel's facilities and amenities were not properly maintained. It was evident that the hotel had neglected the maintenance and upkeep of its facilities. To make matters worse, the customer service throughout my stay was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested in addressing any concerns or complaints, and when I approached the front desk to voice my disappointment, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It was clear that the hotel lacked a proper customer service culture and failed to prioritize guest satisfaction. In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Elite] was an utterly disheartening experience. From the unwelcoming staff and poorly maintained rooms to the lackluster breakfast options and overall neglect of basic amenities, this hotel fell far short of its promises. I would strongly advise against choosing this establishment if you're seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are numerous other hotels in the area that offer superior service and value for your money. And over and above this the location is worst

I had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the rooms.

The staff is good, but one in the management is too rude, almost as if the guests don't matter. Haven't seen such careless behaviour of the management at any other place that we have been to. Despite our repeated requests, we weren't given new towels or the rooms weren't cleaned during our stay there for 6 days. Too small rooms with lack of proper ventilation in some rooms - no window at all. You have to climb, like, four floors to reach, which is impossible if you are going there with senior citizens. Location is good, if you wish to stay in the middle of the market, but if you are up for some relaxing time, this place is a big no-no. Avoidable.

After searching quite a number of hotels and not getting anything under our budget we came across this hotel. Hotel is located just 8 or 9 mins away from mall road,hotel rooms were really beautiful and clean with great views, all the staffs are really very genuine and always ready to help with a smile, the owner himself is down to earth and very kind and to add on they have a cute pet. They have their own kitchen and the food is also good. It was our 1st friends group travel for 3 nights and we are really thankful to them to make our stay memorable one.

Hotel is good but hotel restaurant is very bad and the behaviour of the restaurant manager is very bad.

Good location, really pleasant and clean rooms, ambience is pretty awesome.All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous. We travelled with almost 14 members with lots of luggage and despite hotel staff helped us getting through , i had a very good time there and would surely like to visit there again. Negatives : The food served was not upto the mark .Need to Improve .

The rooms are exactly same as it is shown in the photos. Excellent hotel, well maintained, service is very . Its very neat and clean.. manager and everyone is very welcoming.. in addition, the friendly shepherd is the cheery on the top of a cake
