The best part of this fort is a beautiful monument located at the top. It takes some effort but it is not that difficult to reach there. The entry ticket is only 20 INR per adult.
A historical place nearby karimnagar town. The centuries old canons, are proof of our technology. Govt needs to preserve the place and protect our monuments. General public need to be sensitized not to scribble and spoil our heritage. A good place to trek and view the manair water reservoir. It's always mesmerizing to see the forts in India.
This hillfort was built during the Kakatiya dynasty. Subsequently, it had seen the reign of four more dynasties - Bahmanis, Qutub Shahis, Mughals and the Nizams. Now only the skeleton is left. Nothing much to visit. But the surroundings are beautiful.
You can see and feel history here , need some maintenance to keep clean . View from the top is amazing. Be cautious the climb is steep keep taking rest in between.
Nice environment The ticket price is 10 per person so many monkeys and peacocks but we have to take care of it full plastic waste
Best historical place to visit near karimnagar which is as good as fort of warangal. Timings are strictly followed But its not that maintained even though there are entry tickets.
Place was good. Good nature . good location Recommended for tracking. But maintenance required . for the fort ... Except the floor all are excellent
Very good sightseeing on the top of the fort. Encourage you to visit during the rainy season. Surely you will enjoy the lush green area and the Maneru river. Poor maintenance - the government has neglected the historical place. Suggestion - go with friends.
