Elephants' Statue - Historical landmark in Madikeri - Kodagu, India

Excellent couple of elephants located in fort area of Medikeri, Coorg. Both the elephants are magnificent. Kids will certainly love them. Not sure who built them and when but somehow both the elephants look a bit angry

It's a part of madkeri fort. Huge elephants built before long time show's over the old architecture that's it...you can move around and see the wall of the fort and the way it was planned for security purposes.

These Statues are located with Madikeri Fort compound. Very scenic and beautiful location. Must visit once.

Grt place for those who want peace away from traffic place....nice forest with full of elephants..

Nicely build elephant statue. This is inside medikeri fort.

Nice place it was but maintenance is very poor and that area is converted to govt office.
