Elephanta Lake Garden - Garden in Gharapuri - Mumbai, India

Not worth the walk (walk also isn't nice), view is nothing special and the lake is lined with plastic. Green scenery otherwise but nothing special

The lake water was crystal clear and it is also used for drinking purpose for those people who belong or live. The garden near to it was very beautiful to stay for some time if someone want peace and rest as it is very huge place to discover in one day. You can't go near to the lake as it is usually restricted for travellers because they can pollute it. Nice place to see and visit with family.

An artificial lake in Elephanta, the main source of water in the island surrounded by well decorated garden. Nice landscape, good place for photography.

When I visited this island near gharapuri the lake was closed yet I could see from top of cannon hill trek. Being around would have much better than far top seeing it. Nevertheless this spot is something one can see if plan accordingly and take clue where to go and how to go around at the earliest. Do visit and enjoy

I thought it maybe some small manmade lake for boating or something. But this lake location was dope, surrounded by hills. I don't know it's natural or man-made but it's really good.

Its a good place to visit while visiting elephanta caves. The path from entrance to lake can be improved.

What a place to hang around take a good MTB cycle and a handy camera and you'll find a heaven

Beautiful landscape, historical. and Spectacular. if you travel to India and Mumbai you should see this island first.
