Elephant Watch Tower, Samieri - Tourist attraction in Gullatty R.F. - Krishnagiri, India

Good place to drive to Bengaluru. The roads are also in good shape. If your lucky enough you might get a sight of an elephant. Evenings are filled with peacock calls filling your ears. Carry some snacks to munch while you enjoy the view of the serene lake

This is part of Cauvery North Wildlife sanctuary. Rs 20 is collected by forest checkpost for entry of cars. Road is good. Hard to spot wild animals

It will be nice for the bike ride. Rare to see the animals. Average place to visit for the weekend.

Wonderful place. You might not say any elephants, but just spending some time there is rejuvenating. The most recommended time to visit is during the sunset. The place just has a mystic view. Be aware that the forest gate closes by 6.30 pm. So better return before that if you have to go back to Bengaluru, else it will be a 50 kms long drive through very remote villages and it is not recommended.

No elephant spotted, but a chill drive can be enjoyed. In the entrance people will collect rs 50 as an entrance fee for the vehicle. This is further 3kms from the Aiyur Government guest house. There is watch tower at the Lake for viewing.

Quite ambiance, amazing silent, birds sound ,elephant corridor, Sami lake is the land mark for elephants gathering, wonderful place to see , no horn,no smoking, no plastic waste, excellent maintenance by forest department

Just a small lake in middle of the Aiyur forest. If lucky you can spot elephants early morning. One can expect amazing views throughout the forest route.

Situated amid the Aiyur forest range. Basic facility but very suitable for watching the animals that come to the adjacent pool to drink. Situated at a walkaway distance from the Bettamugilalam road.
