I recently had the pleasure of going on an elephant ride and experiencing an elephant bath and feeding session, and it was an incredible and unforgettable experience. The interaction with these majestic creatures allowed me to connect with nature in a unique and meaningful way. It was an incredible opportunity to witness the beauty of nature up close and personal. After the ride, I had the chance to engage in an elephant bath and feed, which was equally as amazing. Getting into the water with these magnificent animals was both thrilling and humbling. Watching them happily splash around and play in the water was a joy to behold. Feeding the elephants was another highlight of the experience. Being able to offer them their favorite treats and seeing their appreciation and gratitude was heartwarming. It was incredible to witness their intelligence and gentle nature as they carefully took the food from my hand. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Overall, the elephant ride, bath, and feeding session was an incredible adventure that I will cherish for a lifetime. It allowed me to connect with nature and these magnificent creatures in a way that I never thought possible. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend participating in an elephant ride and bath experience. It is a wonderful experience. Never before we had this close to elephant. We took elephant ride, bathing, shower and feeding. All staffs are very nice and polite and they explained everything in detail and patiently. The elephants are also very lovely and we enjoyed a lot. Without this thekkady trip is incomplete. A must visit place.

In Thekkady, we explored a place called Elephant Junction, and it was a fantastic experience. First of all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The elephant ride was excellent and enjoyable. And the Elephant (Meena) was just fantastic. My son was very happy and enjoyed a lot. Will tell our friends about this place. An unforgettable experience overall.

Had an amazing experience at Elephant Junction. It was my first time experiencing these mammoths this close. There are 4 female elephants at Elephant Junction which were rescued from circus and are now taken care at this facility. They offer elephant ride - which is a short 20-25mins ride through the plush cardamom plantations. They also have an option to bath the elephant and have a bath with the elephant. What I specifically liked about this place is that they always give priority to the animals and not the tourists. All these animals are well taken care of at this facility. If in Thekkady, this place should not be missed.

It's heartening to note that all four elephants in the venture are females and are maintained in excellent health. Their regular check-ups by a certified vet are a reassuring sign of the team's commitment to their welfare. The personal connections between the mahouts and their respective elephants were evident and heartwarming. Feeding these gentle giants was a true highlight, and the bathing session was equally enthralling. While our time at Elephant Junction was enjoyable, it did feel a tad more commercial than we anticipated for an eco-friendly venture. The staff, however, were exceptional, displaying warmth and respect throughout our visit. In the spirit of promoting eco-friendly tourism and wildlife conservation, we suggest that the owner explore opportunities to strike a balance between commercial viability and ecological sustainability. This could include more educational elements for visitors, emphasizing the importance of preserving these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats. There's significant potential for growth and improvement, and with thoughtful enhancements, Elephant Junction could become a shining example of eco-friendly tourism in Thekkady. We look forward to witnessing its continued progress!

Date of Visit 31.08.2023 It a ultimate place and worth visit with kids. There are 4 Elephants presently which are well trained. Enough games are arranged in package with Elephants. All staff is very gentle. Reaching before 10am is usefull. Tea/coffee also served after the activities. cafeteria is having a beautiful look and location. Enough parking space is available.

A place to experience elephant by seeing them doing timber lift, elephant ride, feeding feeding an elephant and shower with them. Plus, you get a chance to get photos clicked with elephant. I believe they got three elephants and you will interact with one elephant while any of the activity. They have package for above mentioned activities starting from 500 for an elephant ride to 2500 We did Timber only package for 750 which includes timber lift, feeding elephant, photo session, and a tea or coffee. Personally, I don't like elephant ride. We had great experience here. Although, the ticket price might look little higher but one way the money go towards elephants day to day needs also. Will I recommend this: YES with 1 hour in hand for this activity.
