Elephant camp, Thekkady - Tourist attraction in Kumily - Idukki, India

One of the best Elephants parks i have visited. No. Of Elephant where good. Almost no wait time. They charge 500/- for a 25 min ride and 1000/- for a ride and bath. It was a lifetime experience for us. A must try activity in Thekkady.

Expensive is the word. For a 15 min elephant ride and photos they will charge you 500 per person. They have elephant shower photo where elephant showers with its trunk and they charge 1000 for 1 photo. If you want to pay for the experience of riding an elephant then pay for it. Also it looks cruelty to the animal yo me as the elephants obey their owners as if they are robots...

As name suggests this place is famous for Elephant ride ,basically they have 6,7 elephants here ,ticket for ride is 500 per person for 25 mints,500 extra you have to pay for Elephant bath .Good place to spend whole day here ,in evening time 5-6 pm you can watch Kathakali show for 200 per person .6-7 pm local martial art show tickets 200 per person . Back side of this place there is a veg- restaurant they provide delicious food in economical rates .I have shared the pic. In last there is a Tiger reserve park you can also go there .there was boating area also .I have share the rates for tiger reserve park .

Elephant safari and elephant bathing was awesome. Price is pretty high. Safari is 500 rs and bathing is 500 rs per person. But need to coordinate with the timings to cover all the other activities like magic show, kathakali, marshal arts etc along with elephant safari.

It's Totally Paid activity and Private Not Govt .owned But too much crowded.Elephant ride is like just walking around their own garden max 15 min Ride.Jeep safari in forest is like Visit forest from outside like wasting money in Jeep Safari.Magic show and Dancing Fountain are good for Young Children

Kathakaly and kalari show is splendid. One must enjoy this. But the Elephant ride and elephant maintenance people are not well behaved. For every short of thing they need money. And the charged Rs500 per person for the ride on one elephant we 4 person spend Rs2000 but from my point of view it's not at all worthy

This was an experience to remember... We took tickets for elephant feeding and batching.. each activity costs 500/- per head and in one session two people should go together. There's a package with feeding bathing and riding, we didn't want to ride on so chose feeding and bathing which is minimum to be taken for a package. Although we don't get much time with elephant but I feel that's enough 10-20mins to be there with them, click pictures and watch them resting is fun. The best part is when elephant showers you with his trunk. And feeding them is so adorable..

Good place to visit but just feeling sad about the elephant's condition. On the same place you must Visit for Marshal art show. Elephant Safari is Rs. 500 and other show charges are Rs. 200 per person. I must say except Marshall art everything is overpriced
