The place is around 3km on the way down the Amer Fort. The place offers Elephant ride, elephant feeds, you can do paintings on elephants, bathing etc. The grass patch is good. There are thatched sheds for sitting. It has Small shop that sells refreshments. The prices are random and depends if you are brought down by a guide. No boards listing the price or ticket system. We were charged Rs 1800 for a 20min ride on elephant, whereas a few reviews below, I can see someone charged Rs 1100. For feeding, they asked for Rs 900. Highly over-priced. They will click your pictures on elephant and then will try all to sell 2 pictures at Rs 200. On denial, he acted angry.
It is an amazing experience be it for kids or adults. The place offers elephant rides, feeding the elephants, showering the elephants, climbing on the elephants and also painting on the elephants with all natural colours. We enjoyed out time with these gentle giants wish them a healthy and long life. All activities are chargeable per person, the prices are a bit high but again I am sure maintaining these giants is not cheap. It is a great experience and worth the visit!!
Ele jungle is a great place to visit. One thing I like was the way they introduced us with elephant stating facts.They have many activities including elephant riding, painting, bathing, feeding, trunk climbing. It is totally safe all female elephants are friendly and they really take care of their animals. FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK IT IS ANIMAL EXPLOITING - I don't deny it does not happen but there are some people who genuinely take care for their animals and practically speaking they need to in order to run their business and yes 2 people sitting on elephant won't harm them unless they are given proper diet. Elephant needs to walk 25km everyday for being healthy so this way they also earn , people enjoy and elephant stays healthy win win situation. They let you take as many photos you want. Even they take lot of photos for you and your family.They have given names to their elephants which is quite cute and this also shows how they love them. Yes they even give you umbrella for ride of 25min.
Very good and wonderful experience We enjoyed the ride at noon time, we all enjoyed it well only the weather is hot which is not good for us today else we love the ride Mahout(the keeper) was good and thanks to the staff they are polite and well behaved with us. This place is good for kids if you are coming with kids they will definitely enjoy the moment and do painting over elephant . Wonderful experience we had here!! Best time to visit is from 11:20 am so many other activities they have to enjoy and spend some quality time with elephants there. We met bulbul elephant there.
Amazing place, the place is a therapy within itself. My husband loves elephant, i took him there surprisingly. He was more then happy. Rohit - an executive in Ele jungle, served us very well, and made our experience worth the time and money spent. Highly recommended
After the visit to Amer fort, kids get bored. To compansate, you can plan this visit. Elephant safari is 1100 rupees. Huge elephants who take you on ride for 15 minutes. You can ask the guys there to take your video on your mobile and they happipy do that. No need to buy printed photo from the guy inside. If you still want, bargain well.
