A beautiful ambience coupled with delicious food and good service makes this a great dining option. In my opinion this is the best place to dine in Ekta Nagar, near the Statue of Unity. Prices were reasonable and food quantity as well as food quality was excellent. Would definitely recommend this cafe to everyone (especially for lunch & if you love Gujarati Thalis).
We thought it would be a great thali, but a huge disappointment.
First thing, it is way too far from the statue and other attractions. It is located in Ekta Nursery.
The ambience of the garden is really good!
However, the food taste is average or below average.
Thali costed around 350 pp, with advanced booking.
But, it is the only option with full fledged thali near the statue.
Visited Ekta tribal cafe near statue of unity and had a wonderful experience. The cafe serves authentic tribal food with a variety of dishes and flavors. We ordered the tribal thali which included seasonal vegetable, pulses, and rice, roti with drumstick leaves, makai and bajra thepla, churma laddu, dahi, butter milk, ghee, jaggery, pickle, garlic chutney, coriander chutney and nagli papad. The food was delicious, fresh and less oily. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambience was cozy and relaxing. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different and tasty.
Must try tribal thali. It's a great experience. All workers are female from the tribal community.. very humble . service is good. Remember that Ekta tribal cafe is located at ekta nursery. You can go there with your own vehicle also. At Ekata nursery you can experience Narmada Arati in the evening. So plan accordingly before going. You can get yjmaan pd for Narmada Arati for that you have to book online.

Do try the Hibiscus tea.
It is situated in Ekta Nursery, one who wants to have food something different from regular style, i suggest to try it. thali has a different style of dishes served with a gujrati touch of taste. Hibiscus tea is awesome. The staff is very pleasant and it is neat and clean with proper hygiene is maintained
This place is good, but management and service are the worst(very poor).What are mentioned in the menu that is also not available completely. Even having online booking is not useful.
This location is far from the statue.
My preference is not to book tribal thali. It is gujarati thali only, and serving is very slow. Your hunger will be lost to wait for waiting for food serving.
If you have complaints about food or serving,management persons are not responding.
When I ask for a feedback book or complaints book, they are not giving me.
This cafe is near ekta nursery. It's a beautiful cafe surrounded by trees. Tribal thali is what we had ordered. We were welcomed with hibiscus tea which was super tasty. Thali had 5 different types of rotis, 3 types of sabji, dal, kadhi, pakoras, gatte, rice, khichdi, chips, papad, chaas, laddu. It was an amazing experience. The cafe is operated completely by women. Definitely pre book the thali when you visit SOU.
