Ekaa Villa & Kitchen - Hotel in Agra, Tora - Agra, India

Solid 3.5 stars. First impression wasn't the best. Upon entering the lobby, there was a strong smell that made waiting to be checked in uncomfortable. The seat cushions in the lobby were also very stained. I fantasized about escaping. Our room was clean and I appreciated bottles of filtered water provided - I go through more plastic bottles in India per day than I do in a year back at home. Breakfast was delicious. This was a pretty affordable hotel. One problem staying in Agra was a lack of options in the sweet spot between Oberoi and high end hostels like this.

Super sejour !! Cet hotel est une parfaite combinaison de modernite et traditions indiennes. Les repas (notamment celui du soir si vous prenez le menu qu'ils conseillent) est delicieux, avec un service extremement attentionne. Les cocktails sont excellents. Tout l'hotel est decore avec beaucoup de gout. Le receptionniste nous a aide a reserver un taxi et un train, c'etait super simple et tres apprecie. La chambre et la salle de bain sont tres bien egalement, petites attentions (sucreries locales) egalement tres appreciees. C'est l'hotel ideal pour commencer son sejour en Inde !

This is a thoughtfully decorated hotel, with attention to detail, and also very comfortable. The rooms are large, and beds and chairs are great! They are environmentally conscious too, which shows in their choice of vanities, no bottled water (but filtered water is refilled in beautiful jugs in the room everyday), etc. The food is really delicious and healthy, very different from the usual food at Indian restaurants worldwide. Their in-house mixologist makes fantastic cocktails! They provide thoughtful suggestions to match your needs, interests, and plans for your stay in Agra. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

I have stayed at Ekaa Villa in Agra . This was on the top of the list of best stays experiences ever. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We stayed 2 nights at Ekaa Villa for our anniversary and their hospitality was one of the highlights of our time in India! It's obvious the owners love the industry they're in. Although we felt a little bit like high maintenance guests (phone issues/train tickets/visas) nothing was too much trouble for them and they made a point of ensuring we loved our time in Agra, which we did. It's clear to us since moving on that you just don't get the same kind of hotel experience in larger hotel chains as you do in smaller boutiques like Ekaa. The rooms were beautifully designed and had everything we needed, a very comfy bed too! We loved the restaurant and the care they take to deliver authentic Indian cuisine the way it's cooked at home. Steph and I encourage anyone planning a trip to Agra to consider Ekaa I guarantee your memory of the place will be fonder for it!

Food was fantastic, both breakfast and dinner. They offered food which was not mainstream as you can get it anywhere else. Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave a lot of tips for our travel, not only in Agra but also for other cities. The hotel was very cosy and clean. We could not wish for a better place to start our holidays in India.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ekaa. Vasu and co are warm, welcoming hosts. They organised our trips to the Taj and more. Their recommended guides were great! The rooms are really nicely put together and functional too. Shoutout to Ekaa's restaurant. Lovely food. Didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else in the city. Only minor compliant would be their communication prior to arrival. Felt a bit gappy. Much better in person. We would definitely recommend them if you are in Agra to see the sights.

An oasis of peace as soon as you enter. You receive a warm welcome and the best tips, delicious food. We really felt at home and after three weeks in India this was a soothing environment to be in.
