They don't have proper experienced doctors to treat emergency cases and poor response from staffs. They are not even ready to give proper bills and discharge summary. Pls don't visit this hospital

This is located in one of the prominent locations in Salem. Just like any other hospital this also very commercial one. They created a blood test package for their convenience not based the need of the customer. They charge quite high for every service but, no one bothers about the patients who are waiting for hours together. Neither the staffs nor the doctors bothers the patients. As People say the doctors may be an expert but you have to spend atleast half a day to meet the doctor. Recently i took my 76old mom to this hospital for stomach pain. They first asked to take blood test, that package included with HIV test also. When i asked the staff the need for HIV test, the trainer was " sir, it's part of the package" After the blood test report doc said since the patient is 76yrs old, endoscopic will be painful for her so let's go for CT scan which is advanced and we will get to know all the minute details. Spent 6k for CT scan at the doctor's referred place (for the commission), went back to doc to show the CT scan report. Now he said, this is plain CT, nothing much is identified here. We need to do endoscopy... Seriously... ???? Their only aim is to loot as much as possible from you. Doctor consultation : 1-2 min Wait time : 3-4hrs

Highly disappointed with the service charges and you are asked to take several tests which is non relevant and they are suggesting for Endoscopy even when there is no Major complications . It is totally business oriented hospital !!!!

SCAM HOSPITAL:Billing Scam and Total unprofessional behavior - My dad got admitted for cancer in critical stage , gave 1.6L cash within 24 hours - till the time for discharge never received the total billing estimate and final discharge summary , with 91K approved by insurance, they never gave reminder deposit amount .

1.Poor service 2.Hospitalization fee is 5000 3.Dr. consultation is one minute but waiting time is 4 to 5 Hours. 4.Not sufficient doctor in hospital.

Very bad hospital in terms of treatment and billing both, as one of the other poster mentioned, everything goes with package from step in to step out, doctors straight away ask the patient to start with lab tests and scan docs before checking completely, lab test are package wise not individual, so think how it would be...Completely BAAADDD!

No doubt, it is true ..Eka hospital at salem..is right choice for those having stomach related problems.. It must be said that Dr. Prabhakaran, is the only solution for all ailments related to stomach pain, and with his many years of experience, he puts a smile on the faces of countless patients, and this is my first-hand experience. A small request to the management is to adjust the waiting time of the patients properly so that many inconveniences can be avoided.I noticed a old women fainted in side the waiting hall and fallen down.. Thanks

Best hospital with experienced gastro surgeon in salem. Waiting period is less nowadays .. *They started doing endoscopy by 10 am if patients came without taking oral diet.. *Waiting time for scan is also reduced.. Started scanning by 11 am... Waiting period for doctors is also reduced now... *All kind of emergency gastro surgeries they are doing 24x7. *Acute pancreatitis complication managed by Laparoscopic(key hole) method without opening the abdomen. *Massively bleeding cancer in abdomen was operated successfully recently.. Kudos to the team..
