Eesa hotel, situated near Moochikkal junction, Randathani, in Randathani - Kurukathani Road, is famous for their unique Ginger Chicken (Inji Chicken). It's a kind of a Barbeque chicken made in a native hearth using coconut shells. Unlike other grilled items, they don't use any other masalas on Chicken except Ginger - Gartic paste. Their speciality is they give us 5 variety of sauce as a dip to eat Ginger Chicken. Limited Dining facility is available ( Only 2 benches with 6 seat each). But when I went there, luckily there were enough space available. Their packaging for take-away orders were also nice. They give 5 sauces in a well packed manner. Saturday is a holiday for them. Another import point is they only accept cash. E-payment facilities are not available. Price for one piece of chicken for dine in as well parcel is 110.

Forget every other fast food and casual restaurant you know. There's nothing fancy about this place, it's a small one room restaurant, but it has a great feel to the place sitting outside and amongst the buzz of the people.There is only two dishes serve here, Charcoal chicken(Alfaham) and Kuboos. There is a wide array of sauces to choose from too.That is the main attraction. The chicken succulent and delicious.They are very generous with the portions so it is worth your money. Over all, it's a must visit place if you want a hint of great chicken.

Their Chicken Alfam is a cool food, you can't get it anywhere else. Their special chicken has a special taste. Everyone should try it.

NOTE: they've shifted to Randathani-Kurukathani Road, Near Crescent Clinic. If you would like to taste a unique yummy Al-fahm or barbecue chicken, you could visit Esa Hotel, a cafe set-up with limited dining facility. You can eat the Al-fahm alone or with Quboos. Their recipe is very unique and prepare it without burning the meat. Sauce, squash, mayonnaise and other dips enhance the tastes. I recommend this place for frequent visit. Al-fahm full = Rs450
