Visited in February - this was hands down the best food we had in our entire India trip (we went to Bombay, Jaipur, and Goa) For foreigners, there are no stomach worries at all! Everything is cooked with bottled water. The food is so fresh, innovative, and most of all delicious! My favorites were the tomato salad and the dumplings. (Some of the best dumplings I, a Taiwanese person, have ever had.) They also had interesting refreshing cocktails and I loved their fresh juices! The atmosphere outside was very chill and it was cool in the shade and with the fans.

A Culinary Journey to Remember! Our visit to Edible Archives was truly unforgettable. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The tasting table experience, featuring a delightful five-course meal, left us speechless. Each course was a masterpiece, making it impossible to choose a favorite. The chef's expertise and the manager's graciousness added an extra touch to the overall exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to return for another culinary adventure!

A visit to Edible Archives has long been on my list of things to do and I finally visited yesterday. Being from Goa, I've seen the board of the restaurant several times and knew where the restaurant was, but the friend who I was meeting there (who is from out of town) went up and down the street and couldn't spot it as the signboard was not visible and the house where the restaurant is located is dark when viewed from the main road. I loved the short, sweet menu that focuses on sustainability and in-season produce. Although a small menu, it has an equal mix of veg and non veg items. I'm a carnivore, but only tried the vegetarian dishes as my friend was a strict vegetarian. The jackfruit burger was enjoyable. The Asian tomato salad, idiyappam and beetroot cutlets were alright. I love the quiet elegance of the place and it is a great place if you want to enjoy a conversation along with your meal. The service is prompt and quick. A bit on the pricier side, but I'd visit again to try their interesting meat and seafood offerings.

Edible Archives is a beautiful place with excellent tasting, lovingly made food. It's best for people who enjoy open air experiences and their food made in a slow and sustainable way. Run by Anupriya and Shalini, the place has a huge kitchen garden surrounding it where most of the herbs, veggies and leaves that are used in the kitchen come from. Pepper, fish mint, spinach, chilly, banana plants are only some of the many things they are growing on the property. It's recommended that you make a reservation before going and spend some time in the lovely space. You won't regret it.

Situated in a lovely quiet courtyard, this is really the best restaurant in Goa. As regular patrons to the restaurant, we decided to opt for the Chef's Table. This is a 6 course meal that showcases the full range of Chef Anumitra's culinary talent. The upshot of opting for the Chef's table is to be offered some of the choicest pickings from their kitchen garden. The garden is a treasure trove of indigenous and rare vegetables, herbs and greens--this is in keeping with the philosophy behind this restaurant. They add to their own rich produce by also collaborating with local farmers and businesses to ensure that only the finest and freshest quality of produce and meat is guaranteed to be served, thus, explaining the name of the restaurant. Of course, every Chef's table is different and whimsical (be sure to reserve your table at least 48 hours in advance). The pace of the meals is unhurried and it gives us plenty of time to relish the dazzling richness of flavors, profiles and cooking techniques. As a cuisine agnostic restaurant, don't be surprised if your banana flower fritters are served alongside Japanese inspired pork belly or Smoked duck breast is paired with local raw mango. The meal is an invitation to reflect on sustainable food practices and the labour that goes into producing the food. Don't forget to order the excellent cocktails made out of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The mutton Rizala was truly exceptional with the subtle kewra complimenting the richness of the bones and marrow. Overall, this place is truly magical and the food is excellent!

Another successful delivery dinner from Edible Archives!! (Pictured: chili chicken starter, prawn fried rice, wonton special & love cake dessert of the day). This is my favorite restaurant in Goa. They serve inventive dishes with fresh ingredients which you won't find anywhere else. They also follow ethical, sustainable business practices in harmony with communities and the environment. I can't get enough of their delivery menu and the specials which change weekly. Don't miss out on dessert! I look forward to meeting friends there again soon for a meal and cocktails, once it's safe to.

Having known Chef A since one November afternoon where I went for a birthday meal to her small restaurant at Hauz Khas Village, aptly named the Big Bongg Theory, I was super excited when Edible Archives decided to open its doors in Goa. I remember discussions from the past where Goa was contemplated upon as a possible restaurant locale. Having partaken of Chef A's delicacies, and having moved recently to Madras, I took the earliest possible opportunity to book flight tickets to Goa! And, I landed up on the day of the opening. Let's start with the ambience. It's all white and green, and you feel like lounging around and relaxing with friends and family over food, drinks and conversation. The atmosphere is such that you find yourself smiling at the other guests around and eavesdropping into several lively and animated conversations. The servers are extremely professional and a sight to behold with ready smiles and a warm demeanour. They will help readily with the menu, even offering to let you speak with the chef. And they are happy to make adjustments to the menu to suit various dietary requirements as well. The food, ah, the food! If the photos are any evidence, you'd know that I am a huge fan of the food they serve. The pork with dill is my absolute favourite, and I've been know to order multiple servings, any time of the day! The meat is well done and includes the fatty portions that I love! The simple combination with rice fills up the belly and the soul. The butter garlic prawns are a delight - I strongly recommend it to anyone who loves prawns. Another strong contender for food heaven is the grilled beef salad with pineapple and sprouts. The other dish that was a very pleasant surprise is the Shanxi style brinjal and long bean stir fry - a must try if and when you visit. One must also try the pumpkin and kokum pulled rice and the prawn and pork pulled rice. Again, if you're a pork fan, you must try the mustard coconut prawns with sannas! Finger licking delicious! And, you cannot leave the table without having the serradura! Long story short - I cannot wait to go back! Good show, Chef A and team!

A fine culinary experience! Simple yet delicious flavours...palak patti chaat special was an absolute must. Enjoyed trying the traditional Goan Madi cutlets. Great variety for the cocktail menu...The special Kokoum/tequila cocktail was refreshing. Uddamethi with iddiyappam dishwas a bit too tangy for my liking but won't write that off. Would definitely visit again
