What a sight to behold! I visited the Eden Gardens this year, 12 years since I last visited and so much has changed. Needless to say, it has become better. The Eden Gardens is renowned for its beauty and passionate fans and I experienced all of it when I watched the Semi Finals of the World Cup this year. It was an almost houseful stadium and the crowd didn't disappoint. I enjoyed every moment of it. The hospitality and facilities were admirable. Some of the shots I clicked are given below and at times (I am going to give the most cliched statement) it almost didn't feel like I was watching a match in India, it felt like I was at Sydney, or in London at the Lord's. Such is the beauty of this place. Looking forward to visiting this Colosseum in March-April during the IPL season once again.

Eden Gardens is one of the most popular cricket stadiums in the world. The ground is beautifully maintained and other basic facilities like washroom etc are also well maintained. This is a far cry from the 90's, when there were next to no amenities available for average spectators. One of the main reasons for it being well maintained is that the world cup 2023 matches are also being held here. My visit to the semi final match between Australia and South Africa was a pleasant one. Kudos to the management for providing free potable water to all.

It is one of the other notable places in West Bengal. Here you can sit and watch the game for a while to fulfill your needs. You can get a great experience of watching great games with great environment. But hopefully if you come here spending money then your money will not be misused. You can definitely enjoy the same amount of pleasure.

Eden Gardens is just not only a cricket stadium but it's an emotion for many. The vibe here is unmatchable regardless of whatever the match is going on. I have seen IPL, Test match etc but World Cup for the first time. 67,000 capacity with security and few mandatory restrictions. A visit is a must here.

The best cricket stadium in the WORLD. The atmosphere is ELECTRIFYING. You enjoy every moment you spend here. It is a mix of traditional with the modern. The ground is wonderful and the facilities provided are also good. Under the floodlight the ground looks heavenly. I haven't been to Lords or MCG but my favourite is Eden Gardens.

The ground is very beautiful. The stadium is huge.There are many entry gates. You will get every facility in the stadium. The stands are so good. Recently I watched the 2nd semi final of CWC 2023. It is a great experience to me. The negative point is that the prices of foods are very high. You have to buy anything at twice or thrice prices.

Great historic place in our cricketing heritage. Washrooms are well maintained..very important given that most stadiums in India cannot claim to have this.
