I've been having food from the edele hotel for the past 2 months and so far I've had porotta and beef chilli, ghee rice(neychore) and stew with beef chilli, banana fritter (pazhampori) and beef chilli. Not to mention but the food was awesome and the staffs were friendly too. The only negative about the hotel is its seating arrangement, it's a bit too congested.
I recently visited Edele Hotel and I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic! The porotta and beef chilly combo was a delicious and satisfying combination. The pazhampori beef combination was also a delightful treat that left me wanting more.
The flavors and quality of the food at Edele Hotel were top-notch, and I highly recommend trying out these mouthwatering dishes. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was pleasant, making it a great dining experience overall.
If you're in the area, don't miss out on this culinary gem!
Its A different experience. I had porotta, uppumavu, pazhampori and beef chilly.. both porotta and beef chilly combo and pazhampori beef combination are really awesome.. but I feel uppumavu was an average.
Dining area was really congested..I spent more than 30 minutes to get a seat there.
Edele - One of the legendary spots in calicut known for their breakfast combos. I was asked to try their pazhampori with signature beef fry combo. With mixed emotions, I tried it and boom It was so delicious & added parotta as well. The chaiya was average. Overall - good place with affordable price. The place has limited seating only. If you're in calicut - do try them out.
The food was good. That area is too congested. It's a little bit difficult to park heavy vehicles. It's just 300 meters away from the beach side so it's better to park the vehicle there.
Today, I visited a small hotel for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary and delicious food. The pazampuri and beef, along with the upma, were a delightful combination. The service was excellent, and I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful meal!

I recently visited Edele Hotel in Kozhikode, eager to try out their much-talked-about offerings. While there were a few highlights, my overall experience left much to be desired.
One of the standout dishes was the Upma--a delightful blend of semolina and spices that was cooked to perfection. The flavors were balanced, and the texture was just right, making it a satisfying choice for breakfast.
Another dish that stood out was the beef preparation. The meat was tender and succulent, with a brilliant combination of spices that added a burst of flavor to every bite. It was undoubtedly a highlight of the meal and showcased the culinary prowess of the kitchen.
However, my excitement dwindled as I tried their oily banana fritters. The fritters were overly greasy, taking away from the natural sweetness of the bananas. The excessive oiliness overshadowed any enjoyment I could have had, leaving me disappointed.
One significant drawback of the Edele Hotel was the overwhelming crowds. The place was often packed, resulting in long waiting lines. The constant hustle and bustle made it challenging to enjoy a relaxed meal or have a peaceful conversation. The lack of space and the noise level detracted from the overall dining experience.
Please share your phone number on google. I live nearby your location, i could place orders and pick up directly. I drove there but couldn't find the restaurant.
One of the decent small mess run by two ladies. Place was clean. We ordered puttu, appa, with veg curry and fish curry with a tea which costed 140 rs. I am basically vegetarian . I asked if it was done separately. They said yes. Great taste with no
They have very good porottas and their alfahams are pretty good. They have good varieties of beef and leghorn based curries. Decent service. Reasonable price also.
