It is a sacred groove with a lot of endemic species. Monkeys are found in a large number here. Many rare plants can be seen here. The groove is on the side of the road. It is located in valiyaparamba panchayath. There are small shops near this place and bus service is also available. The beach is just near the groove.
Small sacred grove with some endemic species. Monkeys are main atraction of this place. We can see a lot of monkeys in here and we can give food to them. There are buses from Thrikkaripur and Payyanur.
This is the lungs of purified air. You can feel the calm and inner peace. There's a small temple inside, dedicated to Nagarajavu(snake King). A lot of medical trees and plants are flourished. These are secured by a troop of monkey. It is 2.1km away from Thrikaripur and 8.6km from Payyanur.

This place is a heaven to stay in! You can be rest assured.. balan uncle is very kind and humble. There is a lot of open space and the rooms are like a 5 star hotel but homely. I would definitely love to visit again.
