It's a Central irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh. Built of rock got from blasting of hill in that place. Name is Polavaram project. The machine is grabber to excavate 5' soil at time and fills with concrete with bentonite for foundation to base

This is an upcoming / Under Construction Main Earth Cum Rockfill (ECRF) Dam across River Godavari to close Gap-2 between G'Hill and Right Bank. Major works like Under Seepage barrier of Plastic Concrete Diaphragm Wall has been already constructed below river bed and Sand Densification by Vibro Compaction for Foundation bearing Capacity improvement is alsi carried out in a major portion and work is under progress.

Good,exllent technology,evry one must visit at this stage,to learn more.especially civil engineering students must visit at this stage. After completion of the bridge n spill way ds d 4th bridge which connecting east west godavari's HOW ever still in progress.

U do not get a chance to see how dams r built ... This place gives chance to see amount of work that goes into barrage construction
