Beautiful place in the city we found when we had a day to spend near dhanaulti. It had various flora and fauna, little adventurous experience, small trek route to the top for sight seeing and coming back, and lot of snacking outside the gate. Visit this place to loose yourself in the nature and greener world of coniferous forest
This Eco park is located in Dhanaulti, near Dehradhun, in Uttarakhand. From here one can see the snow clad mountains of char dham( Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri ). This park is paradise for Hikers, The park is full of Big Teak woods and different types of plants, birds and flowers. The sunset here is different like a hue of red and pink which gives a different look altogether. It has long trails for walking. It is best place for picnic for kids as it has swings , seesaw and slides.
Dhanolti is an excellent destination for a peaceful and picturesque stay. However, if you're visiting for day activities, the Eco Park dhanolti might be considered average, comparable to similar parks found in other places. Although we enjoyed the trip with childhood friends.
If you're a nature lover and traveller too...you have heard and seen about some of the famous himalayan nature parks... it will surely catch your eyes not for a moment but for a long time. Surrounded by majestic Deodar trees with varieties of undergrowth floras. You can do a short hike at the top to see the valley view of other side of the hills. And I must mention the smell of the forest which comes from the beautiful deodar trees works like a natural perfume from the forest. Roam, enjoy and spend a quality time with nature but kindly do not pollute the environment by throwing plastics anywhere, use dustbins and Save Himalayas !!
Not for people who want to spend quite time. But good for couple with children and who want to enjoy adventurous activity. Overall noisy ambience. Toilet is very dirty , u can't dare to stand. Though pine tree and landscape is very well maintained.

The eco park is worth visiting, and one has a very Lovely and astounding view from the top. The trek upwards is also well prepared with wooden logs stairs to avoid slipping. A great experience, recommended to visit.
