ECHS Polyclinic Lodhi Road - Hospital in New Delhi - South East, India

A pretty good Polyclinic for retired ex-servicemen of the armed forces and their families. There are a number of such facilities spread all over Delhi NCR region based on geographical lines. This facility has a medical specialist and a gynecologist as well as other doctors. They have a small laboratory as well as the pharmacy and a small cafeteria. The people at the reception are really friendly and helpful and ever ready to answer any questions that you may have. The ramp leading to the first floor is a boon for people who have trouble negotiating stairs. Right now construction is going on of an elevator (lift) to access the 1st floor. Once complete it will be a godsend for wheelchair patients.

State of the art Polyclinic. Very well managed. If latest messages such as holiday etc is posted on website, it'll be a wonderful clinic.

Infrastructure wise, its good, but the major drawback is availability of doctors. The patient to doctor ratio is very poor, as there are less doctors available.

Doctors treat patients badly.They are rude and don't give attention to patients. They should learn professionalism. One staff was shouting at elderly couple today in room no.16. It was like patients mean nothing to them.

The staff is courteous and prompt in addressing your issues. Even if you walk-in without an appointment. Which I find very professional. The doctors are polite and definitely know their trade. They treated an acquaintance well, who hasn't complained of the same issue again. Best part, it is right next to the canteen ;) I appreciate the professionals working here and their method of working. Both Dr. Akanksha and Dr. Monica are smart and work well together since I had to see both of them between the two visits I needed. Great work and good working atmosphere. Keep it up!

Pathetic experience for taking refferal approval form other polyclinic and giving irrelevant excuses giving trouble to the serious patients. Referrals are very important document and need high priority because referred patients need urgent and serious medication.

Doctors here need psychiatric help . Thau keep shouting on patients for no reason

Almost there is no waiting period, the premises is neat and clean, doctors and the supporting staff are helpful & polite. Medicines are available in the farmacy. The set up of the clinic is of high standard and the credit goes to Col. B S Kataria (Retd.). Before taking over by Col Kataria it look like a fish market. Hats off to Col Kataria.
