The point is located next to Kate's point. This is a place that would simply take your breath away. An absolutely beautiful and stunning view point that offers unbelievable sight of lush green Western Ghats range, covered with clouds. This looks like heaven in the rain. The geographic location and the structure of the hills result in a total reflection of sound resulting in an extremely clear echo sound. This is good for bringing kids and there are lots of snack stalls available like Maggie and sweet corn. This point is situated at the height of 1470 meters above seal level. This point is on the trail of Arthur point, There are other points as well like Malcolm Point and Hunting Point , they are very close to each other and show the view of the same valley but from different angles. Adding a few photos of my last visit. There are few stalls for snacks also available for Maggie and sweet corn. You can enjoy a plate of Maggie with a magnificent view. It was a little bit foggy as I visited in September but I loved it. There are few wild cows there, normally they are not harmful but do not try to disturb them and take selfies or feed anything to them(you can ask any nearby stall vendor to feed something, they are pro). Added a photo of that pretty cow as well. This was my second visit to this point. Because of bad weather and I couldn't go to Arthur's seat. But definitely gonna visit it next time.
Echo Point in Mahabaleshwar is a nature lover's paradise. Nestled in the Western Ghats of India, this serene spot offers breathtaking panoramic views of lush valleys and verdant forests. I had the pleasure of visiting Echo Point recently, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The highlight of Echo Point is, of course, the mesmerizing echo phenomenon. Shout or make any loud noise, and you'll be greeted by the delightful echoes bouncing off the surrounding hills. It's a fun and unique experience that never gets old, especially for children and those young at heart. The location is well-maintained and offers ample opportunities for nature walks and photography. The cool, crisp air and the soothing sounds of nature create a tranquil atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation and contemplation. The viewpoint is also an excellent spot for picnics and enjoying a meal with family and friends. However, it can get crowded during peak tourist seasons, so visiting during weekdays or early morning is advisable for a more peaceful experience. Overall, Echo Point in Mahabaleshwar is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene escape into nature and a chance to marvel at the echoing wonders of the Western Ghats.
Echo Point, a major tourist attraction at Mahabaleshwar in Maharashtra state of India. It is situated next to the Kate's Point. Echo Point is true to its name because it echoes when you speak aloud in this place. This place is usually famous among children who really enjoy shouting each other's names at this place. You can also enjoy the mountain and the deep valley view along with the Dhom dam.
You need extreme silence to enjoy the echo point. On weekends and public holidays its over crowded and hence the place doesnt give you the real feel. Rails have been put so you dont trip over, however i saw people climbing up for some selfies and clicks which is risky. Locals have setup shops enroute however no mechanism to manage crowd One has to walk downwards and upwards to reach this point from parking Parking is available but keep in mind on crowded days better to take a cab locally in mahabaleshwar Parking is besides on the road Washroom is available but cleanliness is a question No entry fees
First point at this location. Must try and experience your Echo here. Good memories.
A fun spot for tourists, if you're here to visit mahabaleshwar then you shall give it a go... !
This place is lovely, and I was at peace when I was there. I admired the countryside. It's not really Echo point, it requires a lot of silence in the background to hear the sound.
This is a part of Arthur's seat point and trek. While you are going to Arthur's seat, there are several points and this is one of them. The trek is easy as it is a flat tile stoned road with some steps. Food and beverages is available at every 10 feet as there are many stalls.

This 4500 years old temple is called Panchganga because water of five rivers Krishna Venna Koyna Savithri and Gayathri confluences here and comes out of a statue of Gaumukh which is considered very sacred by Hindus.

Good resort with beautiful view from the dam view balcony. Most importantly there was no crowd around the area making it peaceful. The food taste was great as well. They have a roof top restaurant. Breakfast could have been better. Only 2 options: id
