Taste- is amazing no question about that, thought its a small enterprise it's taste is unmatched.. Quality- is excellent, very satisfied Ambience - it's stand and eat style ..one must just go for food n not for ambience in such places.. Service speed could be improved

Home-style Iyengar canteen serving authentic delicious Brahmin food! Nestled in the by-lanes of NR Colony is this humble Brahmin's canteen serving the most delicious South Indian food not to be found anywhere else in Bangalore. Dropped by on a Sunday morning bicycle ride. Ordered a Thatte idli, Masala dosa and Benne Khali dosa. The dosas are soft yet crispy unlike the hard kind found in other Bangalore eateries. Finished the breakfast with a traditional Brahmin filter coffee. The only phrase that adequately describes the food is 'home-style'. They don't use garlic or onion in their preparations yet nothing seems to be lacking in flavour. They don't use cooking soda as well, which is why you won't feel bloated even after a sumptuous meal. There are no tables or chairs and seating is limited. Place could use some standing tables like the darshini eateries of Bangalore. Drop by if you're in the mood for authentic Brahmin food!

Quiet place, limited selection but wholesome tasting food. Their traditional food is quite the hit, and there's a little place to sit quietly and eat. They have majige huuli on Saturdays only. Their menu is different for each day, and some items are only available in the morning slot and some in the evening slot

A small eatery shop on Sri Veene Raja Rao Road, it has a homely food menu. The taste is good. The menu changes on a day basis which will be displayed on board. This is closed on Monday. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from Morning 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Sometimes the service gets delayed. It's self service. There isn't a specific place to sit and eat. You just need to find a place to either stand or sit.

This place is a family run hotel in Basavanagudi. This hotel is actually a section of their home turned into a service counter. The food gets made inside their kitchen and gets served in the counter. So, this is exactly a place for homely food. I tried Puliyogare, Akki Rotti and Thatte Idli here followed by filter coffee. Puliogre was too good, perfect Brahmin style. Idli too was soft and fluffy. Akki Rotti was a decent affair, since it turned out to be spicy. The chopped chillies were too spicy for my taste buds. Coffee was a decent affair. Overall, I loved the place. Pleasant atmosphere, smiling owner. Will keep frequenting this place :)

As name suggests 'Authentic Brahmin Cafe' taste of Puliyogre and Sakkre pongal is awesome. They run this from Monday to Saturday till 3pm and Sunday holiday and no evening service. Definitely all rice items taste is very good and definitely cost is intact with portion. From 7am-11am they do serve breakfast items too. Masala dosa, tatte idli, akki rotti are main items. Taste- 4* Service- 4* Cost- pocket friendly Parking- street parking ( 2 wheeler) 4 wheeler challenging if no space on road side.

Finally had a chance to stop by and try an item. I tried Sakkare Pongal and it was awesome tasting. Other items looked good, I will definitely make several more stops here to try other stuff in their Menu. I liked their drinking water tank, which is made of copper.
