Earth Plate - Restaurant in Vellore - Vellore, India

I felt may be this is not the right place for ppl who dont speak hindi! Dont know why they made me feel that way, but it is what is. We decided to go this restaurant after looking at the photos with a mountain at the background and also the name "Earth plate" thought it was outside the city somewhere near the mountain place, we were wrong! It was right opposite to CMC near the busy junction on top of a hotel, you can hardly see the mountain from the roof top :-). Coming to food, everything was decent except the Tandoori platter, chicken was raw! No complaints with sizzlers or their mocktails. It can be one of the top fine dining restaurants in Vellore given they improve their service and cleanliness of this place! Good luck!

As I was craving for chicken, I ordered Chicken Sizzler's Mexicana, Grilled Chicken with French fries and Spicy Chilly Chicken. The attentive service and breathtaking views added to the overall charm. If you're looking for a dining spot that combines delicious food with a refreshing rooftop setting surrounded by plants, The Vellore Earth Plate is definitely worth a visit. Daily 10.30pm it's closing. You can have fun with family, birthday party or can plan date with your loved ones.

I went with my family. Good place to go with family and friends. It's roof top garden. They do have AC hall too. We preferred open space, went for lunch still didn't feel hot. Well maintained.

rooftop restaurant in Vellore. The ambience is good. But the hospitality given by staff there is too bad. They don't respond quickly. Also they don't understand Tamil and English, they communicate only in hindi. Food here is very bad and not worth the money and the time. Food is hardly cooked. The meat is raw. If you need a rooftop experience and good ambience you go there once. But definitely not worth the food.

The food here is good. The rooftop ambience is great. They have a limited number of dishes. But the waiters seem inexperienced. They are not familiar with the food they're serving and they only speak Hindi! Also, some utensils look old and unclean.
