E.K. Nayanar Memorial Park - Park in Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

The Thiruvananthapuram corporation's renovation work at the EK Nayanar park, located along the periphery of the Putharikkandam maithanam, has vastly improved the space, making it suitable for morning walkers. Other facilities that have been constructed on the space on either side include a small art gallery, a yoga space, renovated walkways, children's park with play equipment, open gym equipment, seating area, and parking spaces. Two galleries with a seating capacity for 500 persons have been constructed on either side, closer to the stage

I visited the E.K Nayanar Memorial Park in Trivandrum with my friends during our two-day stay in the city. The park is located at Kizhakke Kotta, near the East Fort and the Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple2. The park is named after E.K. Nayanar, a former chief minister of Kerala and a leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist)2. The park is a large open space that is used for various events and functions, such as political rallies, religious gatherings, festivals, exhibitions, etc.23 We went to the park in the evening and we enjoyed the cool breeze and the greenery. The park has an open air auditorium, a stage, a gallery, a yoga space, a children's park, an open gym, and many other facilities1. The park also has a Quit-India Memorial Gate at the entrance, which commemorates the freedom struggle of India3. The park was well lit and decorated with colorful lights and banners. There were some stalls selling snacks and drinks at the park. We had a lot of fun at the park with our friends. We watched some cultural programs and entertainment shows on the stage. We also played some games and activities at the park. We met some new people and had some interesting conversations. We felt the energy and enthusiasm of the people at the park. The park was well maintained and clean. The staff and security were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend visiting the E.K. Nayanar Memorial Park to anyone who wants to have a good time with their friends or family in Trivandrum. It is a place where you can experience the culture and spirit of the city. It is a place where you can have fun and learn something new. It is a place where you can celebrate and socialize with others. It is a place where you can create some wonderful memories. I give this place a five-star rating for its beauty, diversity and service.

Not a tourist place. So don't waste time. Sometimes fairs are on. Then you can visit. Nothing to see.
