Dynasty Paying Guest House - Hotel in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

Visited 2 times before on 2021 and 2022. Earlier they had better customer service. Now, in the recent visit, on 2023, we were very disappointed. I recommended another family to stay in this hotel with us, and pre-booked the rooms. After reaching, they said that room will be available by 9 am as it is given to another customer and instead they allotted a room in the fourth floor, they did not even help with the luggage, we had to carry our own luggage to the respective rooms despite having hotel staff who were busy sleeping. Then again after the room in the 2nd floor is allotted, the tap of the bathroom was bad as there was very little water coming, the manager saw it and said "yeh aisa hi hai" and did not do anything. Then after telling they again changed the room to 3 rd floor. In 4 days of stay, they had to change rooms 3 times. They asked the money beforehand, but Zaryab (owner's son) stepped in, and he agreed to take the money afterwards. The room service boys were not interested in helping with the luggage but were interested in going with us wherever we go, so as to guide us, which we rejected. For Ganga Boat ride, they charged Rs400 per head for 9 persons, which is very high, you can easily get a boat ride for Rs250-300 per person. Don't ever fall into their trap. Since we were old customers we thought that they would give us the best price, but they were more interested in looting us. Later, for visiting Prayagraj, they said the price Rs5000 for a 7 seater car, but we rejected and booked another 7 seater car for Rs 3500. They said 10-15 times to visit their saree store, we visited and bought many sarees, though we knew that their commission was there otherwise who has the energy to say it so many times. While departing, they did not help with the luggage at all, the working boy showed attitude as if he is the District Magistrate. We were ready to give money if he helped us with our luggage but his attitude was like was like "nahin uthaunga luggage, kya kar lega". Earlier, their maintenance was good, but year after year their service, maintenance and cleanliness is deteriorating.

They kept me waiting saying we will send a boy with you to roam about various ghats, then in the evening I had to go alone that I could have done in the noon.Rooms are mosquito party halls without any net or coil given

The worst hotel I have ever been to. They asked the money beforehand for the no. Of night stays . The Staff behaviour is worst. Dirty bedsheets, pillow sheets.

Not so much clean place... Taken non-AC room.. Dirty beddings and pillows... Only thing good about the arrangement at the guest house was manager gave good suggestions about the nearby places to visit...

Worst hotel. Manager is so rude. There are many other better option available in this street. Managers behaviour is like you all are baggers. not any kind of respect to customer. not ideal for family. They asked the number of days to stay and took the money beforehand. As if we were beggars and would go without paying money

Worst ever hotel I have been to till date! They turn off AC own their own and then we also can't use intercom as it doesn't work, so you have to yell from 3rd floor for turning the AC on. In entire Banaras the check-out time is 11_12 but the hotel owner and his employees are not at all professionals don't know how to treat their guests very non-cooperative staff. If you don't have cash they don't care you have to give them cash only anyhow. Will never recommend any traveller this hotel. You should not stay in this hotel which is too expensive for simple rooms. Pathetic experience, so disappointed

Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent customer service. Especially, the gentleman Monu is excellent person. He is professionally and on a personal level also very helpful, and rendered help with everything I needed, including some errands I had to make to buy some items for my stay. While visiting a new place, someone trust worthy is very important. With regards to the place, the two drawbacks that I could live with were, there is no lift, and the Wifi does not work if your room is in higher floors. I had to use my personal hotspot and that was okay for me.
