Most of the items on the menu were unavailable. The chutney and sambar have lost taste and should be made better. I was told the main cook is on leave so the menu is shorter. Ordered ghee roast to see it was soft and not a roast from any angle. It's better to reach out to the cook and tell him how you want as they understand and make it that way, they are Hindi speaking cooks. I told them about one dish and they made it that way. I would still recommend other restaurants if you are not in a hurry and don't want to go far.
We are from Mumbai and stayed in Allapazua for 2 days. Amidst the humid climate, We crashed in dwadasi veg restaurant out of hunger and thirst. Loved the warmth, hospitality and compassion that was poured into the food and atmosphere here. They took great care of us for 2 days, from making upvas sabudana khichdi ( just for us). My wife teared up to the moment, as they went out of bounds for a dish which they never made and nailing it in one stroke is like the ladies are blessed with Annapurna mata.
Thanks a lot for making us feel at home.
This place seems like a blessing if you are a vegetarian tourist in Alleppey. It is in budget and they serve absolutely delicious food. Though, they have limited options, but all the food is excellent.
Excellent Masala dosa and coffee.
New vegetarian hotel started near zeo junction mullackal. A small hotel with good ambience.
5 tables are available for dine in. No parking space, you can park two wheelers on road side, infront of hotel. Nice staffs.
Tried ghee roast and vada. Uzhunnu vada eas not crispy,Food was good. Especially their tomato chutney was very tasty.
The food was good but staff wasn't attentive.
Ordered Khee roast, served within 10mins... It was good.. Seating capacity is not that good, atmosphere is average, service could be better... Overall an average experience.
One of the best veg restaurants in Alleppey. Must try their veg fried rice.
The fish thali here is on a different level (I'm still dreaming about the fried fish). Super generous portion with a variety of veg and fish curries. Not sure what they do differently here but it tastes incredible!
"The Public Restaurant ".. This restaurant in my hometown does not charge its customers. Instead, the customers can pay whatever they feel like or not pay at all. Apart from this, they serve free lunch to 300 old aged people everyday! In spite of all
Good for students and bachelors. Do not expect a proper dining area. The place operates from a house. The food is super cheap, tasty and fresh (especially the fish and clams).
