We had searched for a place which serves benne dosa and landed here. It is a small place but the service is quite fast. The benne dosa here is authentic and true to its taste. We also had benne masala podi dosa but the podi is sweet. We tried benne poddu and thatte idli which are quite soft in texture and gives you good feeling.
This tiny place offers self service and I highly recommend Benne Masala dosa, regular Masala Dosae, Vada, Kaali dosa and filter coffee at DVG Benne Dosa. Even for home delivery option, their dosas are simply the best choice. Thick coconut Chutney with melt in the mouth dosa is their USP.
I recently visited DVG Benne Dosa restaurant, and I must say it was an outstanding experience! The self-service concept made the whole dining experience efficient and convenient. But what truly stole the show was their mouthwatering benne dosa. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, with a generous dollop of flavorful butter on top. It was a true culinary delight that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The quality and taste of the benne dosa here are unmatched, and I can't wait to go back for more. It's a small joint. You have to eat on the platform where they have some tables. Food was ok. Many items in the menu were not available. Coffee was also ok. I've had benne dosa in Davangere. Compared to it, it wasn't so good. Hygiene is low

Small outlet near EGL campus. They make good Benne dosas and Thatte idli. The coffee here is good as well. There is no seating here and we need to eat on the roadside pavement.
