Durigo's Goan Bar & Restaurant - Goan restaurant in Benaulim, Vanelim - South Goa, India

This place has been around for decades now. Lovely place for authentic Goan cuisine. Beef, pork, seafood. Simple no nonsense ambience. Hog and leave. Good parking available. Had fried mussels, pork amsol, beef chilly fry, masala calamari. Their pricing is good and service is really fast. Good place for a quick bite, few drinks or a family/party outing.

We ordered Bombay duck although it wasn't cooked very well and had no taste, the goan curry we thought would be souraq but didnt have that flavour that is all Goan, sadly :( the beef chilly fry was great, i wish they'd put in capsicums instead of so many tomatoes though. The caramel custard was absolutely divine. We took one to go ... Anthony our server was super awesome and patient.

YUMMY GOAN FOOD! I will definitely be coming back here. The serving portions and rates are so good, the best is the taste. The space is big, well spread out, with amazing interior design, lots of plants and photogenic spots. Ample parking space and a decent washroom too. It looks beautiful at night. Though we were a BIG group! The service was fast and great. The waiter was quick and warm. I will definitely be coming back. I specifically loved the pork sausage rice.

We ordered 4 portions of chicken lollipops and 3 portions of crispy chicken as starters for the 8 of us. Looking at the prices, we thought the portion sizes or the taste of the food would be really good. When the food arrived we were really disappointed by the taste, the portion size and the fact that the food did not taste fresh. After paying our bill, we walked out of the restaurant straight away and went to a different restaurant since this restaurant ruined our mood and we were all left unsatisfied.

A Lovely quiet restuarant with local delicacies. Great food and quiet ambience. Try the local goan foods like cafreal, xacuti, sannas, poi bread . Peaceful in benaulim.

Visited the restaurant after a really long time and had to change my ratings. (Initial 4 stars, changed to 2) Let me start by saying what an amazing restaurant this place was and I have visited it several times from my childhood to date. Reasons for change in ratings: 1. Food quantity - not what I expected. Loved how this restaurant would be like those local ones that cared about the quantity they served. Looks like it wants to turn in those high end places that give you 4 pieces of prawns for Rs. 600/- 2. Taste - Over all these years, the taste has changed drastically. Loved their sorpotel and goan sausage pulav but not anymore. The sorpotel had only chunks of liver and the pulav had no taste of the sausages. It was just mixed with sausages and plated together. The pork ribs are still yum!! 5/5 The recent experience really made me upset and changed my liking for this place. The service is still good even after all this time. There's this 1 server with big thick glasses. What a humble and fast person. Will I visit again? Maybe only for the pork chops.

Went for a late lunch after a strong recommendation. The restaurant guys were very friendly and took the order even though it was almost closing hours. Definitely recommend a shot if around Colva. Restaurant itself is behind a huge house with nice ambience. Great prawns and fish!
