Entry of general people are restricted in main Rajbari building. You can feel the beauty from outside.
It is an old palace of any jamidar, but it is not very much ancient and now it is used as Sub-divisional Police Offier's office,Itahar,Uttar Dinajpur. It is commonly known as Durgapur Rajbari and there is nothing really exciting about it. It is situated beside NH.
It is an ancient Zamindar bari or palace turned into govt offices. Do not appreciate such historical places that are turned into offices. We went to see Durga Puja at the Zamindar bari
Gigantic building carrying rich legacy. Beautifully maintained. So colourful.
Not so attractive. Don't waste time visiting this place. They don't allow photography inside building. Feel this pic thats all.
