Older place. Steps going up the waterfall are old, broken, and crumbling. Be careful, hold the handrail. The waterfall is quite small, and from the cement, was man made
The waterfall is too good to see. The experience is remarkable.
not exactly a waterfall, it's too small to be classified as a waterfall. The route to reach here is very beautiful. It's a scenaric route, probably one of the most peaceful and close to nature kind of ride. It's a must visit, there are temples here and the place can be explored by yourself if you have time. You may take the stairs and go above the small waterfall but be careful on the stairs. Once you climb up the stairs, you may trek further, although there's nothing much to explore further. Overall, because of the route and the vibe of this place, I recommend visiting this beautiful place.
A small durga mata temple enroute to amarkantak from pendra road station.
Excellent place nice & Beautiful Weather.
It's almost 7months since I've visited Amarkantak. No hate, I had a little good n bad experience tho. Better to visit in monsoons and winters, where it brings you heavenly atmosphere. Take your own food and water. There's nothing available near to the waterfalls. Relax and chill on the high ranges. You can see many cute langurs around you everywhere. Have a good time!! #omnamahashivaya
I was visited this place in new year 2021. Durga Dhara is Beautiful natural place, looks most attractive on rainy season natural fall looks Charmed, it was Situated on the road from Pendra road to Amarkantak this is a stream with a small fall. On one side there is a small temple dedicated to Devi Durga. I did not get time to trek this stream a little but it looks beautiful and environment is calm. As this is situated on the road not frequented by travelers it is one interesting site missed by many. This road is bad and hence the scenery is good and green. I have no doubts in recommending this road to all travelers using bikes or those who like greenery.
