If you are in Kalyan west and have some spare time then visit this place. This is an Historic fortress with Durgamata temple. This small fortress was used as a check point for ships passing through the nearby Ulhas river creek. 30 minutes duration is sufficient for spending time at this place. Flowers and other puja items are available at the entrance of the temple. However if you wish to offer good quality sweets or some special Prasad and puja items it is suggested to carry such items along with you as nearby places are not that good. Temple timings morning 7 am to 1 pm and evening 4 pm to 10 pm.
It's a historic place having relevance with Maratha Emperor Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who built this fort having Durga Mata Temple on the top of it. The fort is located at Creek / Ulhas river gives access to beautiful scenery view during sunset. Temple is very beautiful and clean you will feel peace and blessed just by entering in the temple.
