Duliajan Club, one of the premier and oldest club of the North East Region of India is situated in the OIL Township Duliajan. The club since its inception in the year 1963 is engaged in exploring the hidden talents of the upcoming youth of Duliajan and nearby areas. Duliajan Club is presently represented by around 2200 Employees and Executives of the Oil India Limited, a Government of India Undertaking, situated at OIL Township Duliajan, Assam. A Platform to Explore Talents" - the prime motto of the Club is being fulfilled by various activities in the field of Cultural, Literary, Sports, Health, etc. The club has various wings running under its premises such as Sports Wing, Cultural Wing, Literary Wing, Health Wing, Entertainment Wing, Drama Wing, Academy Wing, Women Wing, etc. The cultural wing use to organize various cultural events for exposing the talents of the members and their dependants. Various cultural competitions, programmes are being organized in the club premises to prove the same. The cultural wing also deals with the selection for the talents for participation in the outside cultural competition. The literary wing of the club always tried to develop the interest of literature in the mind of its members and dependants. Various academic related workshop are being conducted to develop the future prospects of the students of Duliajan and nearby areas. Various competitions such as essay, poem, article, etc are being hold in intervals to develop the skill in the field of literature. We have invited Renowned Literateur of Assam and Sahitya Academy Award Winner Mrs. Nirupama Borgohain, Shri Nilmoni Phukan in our programme "MONTH OF THE GUEST" where our valued members had direct interaction with them.
Its a place where you get to learn different activities ,like- chess , dance ,different musical instrument etc and there is a gym inside it too (ofcourse you have to pay for it) but not a night club . Its quite a clean place . Sometimes different events also takes place here like magic, cinema etc.
