A great travel experience from start to finish. From booking stage and the various questions I had on the tribal photography tour, Mr. Jitu was always quick and professional in the way he replied. Being a Professional Photographer I planned to capture Tribes of Odisha with Dulcimer Tours. It was the best and most interesting experience I ever had. I visited with Dulcim Tours Orissa and Chhattisgarh and it was one of the best and most interesting experiences I did in India. Beside wonderful nature and fascinating culture, we visited many tribal villages and markets and got a possibility to see and experienced the daily life of this people The organisation was perfect. My wife and I completed a two week tribal tour of Orissa with Dulcimer Tours in January. After close to forty different visits to various areas of this subcontinent, documenting photographically and in writing our travel experiences it would be far from the truth if I did not acknowledge that the most knowledgeable guide I have ever encountered was Mr. Jitu. Any photographer of people in a foreign land soon realizes that the success of his undertaking is strongly linked to the ability of the guide to be able to communicate with the peoples of interest. Jitu is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and is extremely well versed about the culture, traditions and history of the various tribal groups. Upon entering villages, the eyes of the villagers light up in delight when he arrives and immediately this paves the way to allowing a photographer to have the opportunity to start a dialogue with potential photographic subjects; a prerequisite to making meaningful photographic studies. Our itinerary was flexible and Jitu was extremely adept at recognizing photographic subjects who he felt we were interested in engaging with. It would be remiss if it was not said that this extremely fruitful photographic undertaking would have remained a dream deferred without Jitu's expertise. Without a hint of reservation we highly recommend Dulcimer Tours. It is in a class of its own.
