We stayed at Duke's home for 3 nights. The overall experience has been really amazing. We stayed in two premium rooms and view from both the rooms is purely breathtaking. The owner is a pure gentleman and good one to have a chat with. They offer real tasty food. Everything was just perfect.
The place is at a peaceful locality at 2 km distance from the main market and is quite easily accessible. Its just the perfect place to relax in every aspect.
Dukes Home offered us everything we hoped to have during our 3 night's stay. Clean rooms, amazing food, breathtaking view and what not! We had the whole panoramic view of the mountains from the windows only. It has a lovely family as its owner which made us feel more at home. Because of this beautiful stay we are now in love with Kalimpong and would definitely visit again.
It was an wonderful stay in Dukes home in kalimpong. It was my first homestay experience and it was amazing. First of all the rooms are very much well decorated, view from rooms was very good. We were lucky enough that the climate was very good and we witnessed kanchenjungha from room bed from morning to evening. Food quality of this homestay was very good and price was reasonable. Behaviour and hospitality which we got from owner and his wife were beyond expectations, thanks to Dukes home. Will stay in your place in next visit in kalimpong.
Duke's home has been a wonderful experience for me, my wife and our 3 year old daughter! The fine aesthetic sense of the owners was clearly visible in the way they have decorated their homestay.
Everything was very clean, the fixtures were new and the overall getup was very comforting.
The service was also excellent, the food was great, and the view was astonishing on a clear day and great on any other day!
In fact, to us it was best of both worlds - on one hand the service was like a premium hotel, and on the other hand it was filled with the warmth of personal touch.
I highly recommend Duke's Home to all the travellers and mountain lovers out there.

A beautiful place to stay..!!
Wether its a comfortable stay with family or you want a place to hang out with friends, Duke's home is the best one can get in Kalimpong. We got the room Rhododendron, which was at the top floor. One can enjoy scenic view of the mountain straight from the bed. Services provided here was great & food was delicious.
Stayed at Dukeshome for 2 nights with family.Just awesome, we were lucky to view kanchenjunga even during monsoon. The view was just spectacular. The rooms were very spacious and super clean with all the amenities. The food was so delicious and they have lots of iteams in their menu card....try their chicken 65 and garlic chicken, fish curry was just awesome...tried their momos and thukpa which was just wholesome and finger licking. The service was also top notch. In the end just would like to say that this hotels surpass almost all the top hotels. Just value for money in terms of quality, food, rooms, service everything.Had we stayed in a branded hotels we would have paid much more to the same facility Dukeshome gives.
It was a lovely experience to stay at Duke's Home. Myself and our whole team have enjoyed their hospitality and warm welcome.
Very good food and comfortable staying
We put up at a home-stay ( Duke's Home) as a guest but the warmth hospitality that was offered to us by kind and cordial host made us feel like a part of their family. In no time they became our close friends. By profession both Mr. Chettri & Mrs. Chettri are engineers and their ingenuity and aesthetic sense of beauty is clearly reflected in the way they have decorated the home-stay. It's a beautiful homestay, warmly comfortable with artistic decoration visible at every nook and corner of the home-stay.
Waking up early in the morning one can enjoy sipping a cup of tea with the spectacular view of the Kanchenjunga through the window. It looks like a masterpiece of a layout artist.
Foods were very tasty, fresh & hygienic.
Duke's Home is not only a home-stay but it became our extended home.
