Duck Tale - Restaurant in Doom Gaon - Dehradun, India

I've been to this place multiple times and it's good. The prices are cheap and food is not bad. The staff is good and service quick. The winning point of this place is the location. The views are amazing. Perfect for enjoying a sunset or some beautiful clouds. The seating is good as well. Keep in mind this is no fancy place but just a nice place to relax and enjoy the nature.

We visited this place for the location and the view from the balcony which was really good . But cant say the same for food , we had ordered veg grilled and chicken grilled cheese sandwich which were just filled with mayonnaise and were too sweet and kind of disappointing.Even the coffee was just ok at best. Manchow soup was also not that great

It was a beautiful evening. View from this place is crazy. Definitely go for outdoor sitting. Nothing can beat 'Doon' View. Tried their Patiala chicken gravy.. It came out looking fine, tasted somewhat fine but after few bites the flavour of garlic was too much there were many garlic pods in half portion, which was too much.. I mean I like garlic, but I ordered chicken for a reason. Oh..and My suggestion for you is, to Only order this dish if you like Sunny sideUp egg because this dish comes with a sunny sideUp egg on top. I enjoyed it because l like eggs that way. Other than that, my experience with this place was good, I liked their balcony view, service, staff and whole vibe of this place. P.S. Honestly, I went there for their view, and I must say I was well fed, i feasted on the beauty of ddn-mussoorie mountains, weather, stars, night lights (which seems to be blinking).

Great place to hangout with friends or family, on your way to mussurie and enjoy the view of the valley below. Ambience is pretty cool, with the white themed furniture decor. Service is very prompt and the owner is good natured. On a winter afternoon this is a great place to sit in the sun, but there's indoor seating available as well. Their Hara bhara kebabs are simply great, but their tandoori chicken wasn't upto standards, and lacked the spiciness associated with the dish. Same was the case of Kadahi Paneer. Hence a star deducted for the okayish food.

View from DuckTales Cafe is Awesome. Especially having tea and watching sunset is worth..! Washrooms are neat and clean. Good hygiene and overall a perfect stop for Refreshment. Food Quality is also Good

The cafe is situated road side on the main Dehradun Mussoorie highway...9.5km from Dehradun. The cafe has a small parking and the seating area has a valley view from which whole of the Dehradun city is visible. The open air seating area has a nice dining experience as the the refreshing cold breeze is always there to cheer your spirits. Also the menu is great for both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The place is good enough for all ages. We visited the cafe twice with family and preferred to spend a few hours of quality time and then went back home. The decision was much better rather than visiting the crowded places. Also, the food tastes great. The prices are moderate and the staff is friendly and hospitable. All payment options are available. Ample amout of seating space is available. The cafe is 2 story but the downside is that the washroom is on the lower floor...so one has to climb down to access it.
