* Went there for COVID Precautionary Dose after so long. * Previously my grandfather ( DSP employee) was insured over here so came here for his treatment long ago.Now he is no more. * Nice ,well maintained ,clean and hygienic hospital of Durgapur. * Well behaved staff, nurses and highly qualified doctors. * Mainly for Durgapur Steel Plant insured person . * There are different buliding for General Medicine, emergency etc. * Soothing and calming environment being created by different gardening techniques. * Bsc. Nursing course is also provided to Undergraduate students. * Hefty amount of billing you have to face if you are not an insured person which is one of the problem faced by patients coming for treatment from other places.

Durgapur steel plant owned and run hospital for the current and ex employees of SAIL. Few departments and doctors are really good and their way of treatment is also good. There was a seperate department and building for chest which is not converted into a Covid facility. No fees for doctors or medicines for employees and very cheap for poor people as well who want to get treatment here.
Now the hospital is totally 3 rd class.patients are going for death.doctors are not observing the patients properly.a veterinary hospital is far better than this.
Nurses care for you like a spoonfed baby, taking to the bathroom, dressing u , washing your mouth and all the chores, staying awake the whole night looking after u and still a pretty smile and satisfaction on the face for you to get healthy soon
