Drizzle Valley Cottage - Cottage in Munnar, Chithirapuram - Idukki, India

I'm traveling in India and if you are traveling to Munnar for few days, this place is perfect for your stay. We enjoyed our time for four days, surrounded by nature and good fresh air. The rooms are clean and really nice. You have a private bathroom and good Wi-Fi connection. Also, the rooms have a beautiful balcony where you can spend a beautiful quiet time. The activity is run from a family which is always available for any necessity. The position isn't perfect if you want to stay in the centre of the city, but I can guarantee that with a simple cab you will reach it in few time; there are a lot of tuck tuck they can book for you at any time! If you want, they offer also breakfast and dinner services. Last but not least, you will not only find a suggestion atmosphere and good service, but also really kind people. Just enjoy!

What truly set this home stay apart was the remarkable hospitality I received during my stay. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request or inquiry I had my stay at this home stay in the countryside was a truly remarkable experience. The combination of exquisite rooms, warm hospitality, and breathtaking surroundings made it an unforgettable retreat. I would highly recommend this home stay to anyone seeking a peaceful environment.

Good customer service. Being a little hidden from the main road (1km) makes it much nicer. A simple breakfast and dinner will be made to order (family owned cottage). 2 to 3 car parking available. 24hr hot water facility available. If the owner can provide a rental bicycle it would be of great value, helps explore the area easily.

Best place to stay. 8kms away from centre though but worth it. Neat and tidy place maintained by friendly people. Wifi is great too.

Drizzle Valley Cottage is a perfect definition for home stay. What truly set this homestay apart was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. Hats off to ashik, aleena, siji chechi and joy chettan. They were genuinely friendly, caring, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations about the local attractions. Their personal touch made me feel not only like a guest but a cherished friend, which added a special touch to my stay.

Rooms are quite excellent and budget friendly. Manager is very cool and handsome very good looking and charming helpfull in any of your situations , joy sir was also very kind man who is the co-manger , also the family, and there food is homely and tastey, loved to be here for a while, please do stay here while you are coming to munnar, I had such a good time being with them and family.

I stayed with my family on 10 May 2023. The owner Mr. Ashik and his father welcomed us as their relatives and talked freely. I booked two deluxe rooms. The rooms, beds, bedspreads, blankets and the rest rooms with 24hr water heater facility were very neat and maintained well. We had a nice and secure stay. We had a simple good homely breakfast. Eventhough the property is 10 km away from Munnar, it is in nice location and it is free from city's noise with car parking facility. Overall you can have a nice stay there.
