Dr. Gokak is a genuinely nice person who truly listens to his patients. We took my father there for his multiple health issues and were impressed with the doctor's bedside manner and ability to put patients at ease. He has an approach of minimalism, treating only if absolutely necessary and does not tell you to get unnecessary tests or procedures done. We also did not have to wait long (with most other doctors we have to wait 2-3 hours). I live in the US and he was kind enough to update me over phone about my dad's health till I was able to come to India and talk personally. We truly appreciate that.
