Hi All, I was suffering from Deep vain thrombosis in my left leg due to which my left leg was swollen a lot and and there was lot of pain in my left leg and i was not able to walk also. Hence, I had visited the Hiranandani hospital in which I had shown my left leg to doctor Swarup pal. After the diagnosis he advised me to get admitted in the hospital for few days and he gave me the appropriate treatment on my disease. Now at present the swelling & pain in my leg has decreased and i am able to easily walk. Swarup Pal and the #THeartMech team was recommended to me by our family physician. The recommendation was for my 74 year old mother who had undergone an angiography where multiple blockages were discovered. Since I live in the US, I am not very familiar with doctors in Mumbai anymore. As a result, I did a lot of research and then talked to some of the best surgeons in Mumbai (about 6 or 7 of them)... Dr Swarup Pal stood out for me purely because he was knowledgeable, his entire team was present for the discussion, his analysis was transparent and he was more interested in talking about my mother rather than finding out where I live and what do I do. Pre-Op experience --- Dr Pal took the time to review the angiography and spent the time explaining why CABG would be the best procedure to perform. He did not try to rush us and patiently answered all our questions. Once we decided to go with Dr Pal, he did not rush into the operation. He took his time running a myriad of tests, let my mother spend a couple of days in the hospital to become familiar and then booked the OR. He was laser focused on ensuring that the patient was ready both mentally and physically before performing the operation. He is respectful, calm, composed and always meets the patient on their level, simplifying complex terms and ensuring the patient understands the risk vs reward. Post-Op Experience --- Dr Pal and the entire #THeartMech team is on point. They are available at all times and although they are performing surgeries almost every day, they find the time to visit the patient (multiple times a day) and ensure that recovery is moving in the right direction. One thing that I really liked was that they handle all the critical bandages themselves even though this is potentially a task that could be delegated, it's always one of the doctors changing the bandages. Hats off to Dr Deepak, Dr Atulya and Dr Jatin. Their dedication to the patient and the hospital is quite apparent and comes out in every interaction with the patient and their family. Hiranandani Hospital Experience -- Post-Op recovery is a tricky business. It's not just the doctors but the entire team of doctors, nurses, mamas and maushis, dieticians, physiotherapist etc. that need to work very closely together as a single unit to help recovery accelerate while maintaining a positive patient experience. This hospital is a very well oiled machine. My mother has been extremely comfortable and all the staff are very attentive to her needs. I am yet to see a single staff member being rude or confrontational. I lived at the hospital along with my mother in a single room. I can vouch for the fact that the rooms are super clean and there is a real focus on hygiene and cleanliness. I am yet to spot a single bug of any kind on the entire floor. That's a testament to the effectiveness of the cleaning and building staff. Lastly, I want to thank Dr Pal from the bottom of my heart for doing what he did for my mother. He is an asset to this hospital and together, the #THeartMech team is probably the best in the city.

Dr Swarup Pal and his team (Dr Deepak, Dr Jithin, Dr Atulya) performed a multi-bypass surgery on my father for his blockages in the heart. My father was originally admitted to Hiranandani hospital in Powai for infection. He suffered a heart attack when in hospital, and major blockages were discovered in all his three major arteries. Angioplasty was ruled out due to the level of blockages in all three arteries, and we were advised Bypass and referred to Dr. Pal. The news of his major blockages had us distressed and in a bit of a shock. Our first meeting with Dr Pal gave us confidence that bypass was a very viable and frequented medical treatment for blockages, and that alleviated our distress to some extent. Dr. Pal was very clear that surgery would be done only when the infection subsided and we heeded to his expert advise. So we waited for around 10-12 days for the infection to subside. Met Dr Pal regularly during this period. After each meeting our confidence in him and the process grew. The surgery on the scheduled day lasted 12 hours where there were six blockages bypassed. This to my mind was an exceptional display of skill and patience by the entire surgical team. However, what touched us the most was the dedication shown by Dr. Pal and his team in the post operative care. Round the clock, not just monitoring the patients but also taking care of each of the patients needs. My father is now recuperating from the surgery at home. We as a family would always be grateful to the entire team (including the support staff) of Dr Swarup Pal for all their effort and commitment towards the surgery.

On 3rd of October 2023 @ 9.00pm my husband had pain in his left arm and back and severe headache. Immediately we reach to Hiranandani Hospital at Thane. On duty doctor checked and ECG was taken and it was confirmed a heart attack. Immediate first aid treatment was given on the spot and we were transferred in Cardiac ambulance to Dr.L.H.Hiranandani Hospital, Powai. On causality immediate Dr.Rishikesh Patil checked and 2d Echo was done and advised Angiography. Next day Angiography was done and there were three major blockages. After consulting all the doctors and Dr.Swarup Pal the finiding was concluded 1 major blockage 2 more blockages at the major area so bypass was advised instead of angioplasty thinking the age of my husband and for long run. We were in great shock. However, Dr.Swarup Pal explained the whole process and reason to do the CABG and made us comfortable by stating that there is nothing to worry as there is no risk in operation and the life will be normal in 15 to 30 days. Dr.Swarup gave me his card and asked to call when ever needed and my call and messages were attended on time by Dr.Swarup Pal and his team. We were advised to carry out CABG on 19.10.2023. We got admitted on 17.10.2023. Dr.Swarup Pal and his Heartcare team met us on operation day and explain again the operation process. The operation took almost 7 to 8 hours and Dr.Swarup Pal met us after operation and said everything was done successfully (4 blockages were bypassed) and my husband was shifted to the ICU. (Dr Swarup Pal you just made this miracle happen so nicely .......I m grateful to you for all care and treatment given Sir) My husband was there in ICU for 4 days and he was under continuous 24 hour observation by Dr.Swarup Pal and his team (Jithin, Deepak & Atulya). They all took proper care of my husband in ICU also Dr.Swarup Pal was taking whole day and night report of my husband. All our queries complaints were solved by all of them on timely basis. And even after discharge all our phone calls and messages are attended for any emergency. Dr Swarup Pal reverted my message even when he was on vacation. We are thankful to Dr.Swarup Pal and all his team for all his treatment and efforts. Dr swaroop itself was very nice n helpful along with his team. The Doctor made the patient so comfortable before the operation that the patient and his relatives were not at all scared because they believe that the patient was in safe hands. Dr Pal has been the most amazing doctor I have met. I come from a family of doctors and know how difficult the profession is. However I can say with pride that Dr Pal has been truly truthful and sincere to his duties and responsibilities. He comes across as such a humble person, always caring for his patients and even their family members. There was never a time when I would not know what was the next step that my dad would be going through in his by pass surgery. We were well informed days in advance what's the procedure and what to expect, pros and cons and all the minute details.
