Dr Sivakumar Multi Speciality Hospital (DR.SKMH) - Featured Reviews (441)
Hello All, Myself Bhuvana.. I just wanted to let you all know here that how much am so so happy after getting treated by Sunitha Mam at Sivakumar hospital.. I really had a bad days when suffered a lot due to my problem, but after taking treatment from Sunitha mam, my issue got completely recovered... I have now words to express my gratitude to Sunitha mam... Am so much grateful for her.. Thank you so much Sunitha Mam... And also special thanks to the staff nurse who were so kind and very helpful. Thanks Sunitha Mam and Sisters
My wife had a surgery, the treatment was excellent and to the utmost satisfactory level. Please read my comments below which are specific to the services we received and according to our experience *Best in Service:* * The treatment from the Dr. Sunitha is extremely good and we are 100% satisfied. She is really a savior and well experienced * The nurses were really friendly, supportive and caring no doubt that is why they are called as sisters * The hospital is very clean and hygiene. *Good to Have Facilities:* The admin team should focus on following areas to ensure hassle free experience for patients and attenders: * There should be a call bell to call nurse for spot assistance as we had to go personally to call them each time (which was very hectic during night time and sound sleep) when the infusion pump buzzed because of technical glitch/when it's empty (it should be present at least in private room considering the package we pay) * For outsiders it's really tough to arrange food for patients although we can get it from nearby canteen or online food delivery apps but still it's not advisable as most of the times it's strong and spicy, at least there should be some arrangements done from hospital that provides the food as per diet chart only to patients because outside food is available only during specific time and chart has the slots at alternative hours (since it's my experience so my perception) * It's difficult for patients to get into the bed post surgery because of its height and the steps provided doesn't help either as it requires a lot of effort, the hydraulic bed should be provided in the private room considering the package Again, the above points are good to have facilities to ensure smooth and hassle experience and it's not a showstopper for treatment *Must Have Facility:* The Insurance desk was not supportive or transparent: * Despite informing about the treatment and providing all necessary documents in advance, they didn't initiate pre-authorization process. We paid the admission advance a week before surgery and locked the date yet no timely progress from insurance team instead they blamed us that we didn't inform them of treatment (which I already did each time during our visit to hospital). As a result I ended up paying full treatment cost at the time of admission + pharmacy bills. While it was refunded during discharge but not everyone will afford to pay a hefty amount in full as they will be in assumption its cashless hospitalization, do not get lured by looking at the cashless hospitalization banner in cash counter or when insurance guy tells he will take care at the time of admission * At the time of discharge I got refund from Insurance but 10% of amount was not refunded that came under discount by insurance as part of MoU contract with network hospital, when I asked about this amount the hospital insurance desk acted as if they do not know anything about it and was reluctant to support to get it refunded. Finally, after couple of escalations and follow-up I got it back after 4 days. If you are fully dependent on insurance make sure the insurance team initiates the pre-authorization timely or arrange the entire treatment + pharmacy cost and then get it refunded at the time of discharge and do not forget to ask about 10% discount (as applicable) as per final approval statement from insurance. ABOVE ALL, the treatment is best in class and no doubt about it. As long as we are ok to compromise on these things to get good treatment, then it's all OK I would like to thank Dr. Sunitha, Assistant Doctor, Duty Doctors, Nurses and the Housekeeping Staff for providing the best service. May god bless all :)
Personal care was given at the hospital. Dr Sunitha was very efficient and was quick to clear all our queries. Her team also took good care during our stay at the hospital and also at every follow up .

[Reply for the comment : As I'm unable to add the comment, editing this one. Its very funny to hear from the doctor itself as false claim. Do you think your report itself is false and its easy to get claimed using an illegal documents?? which means, then you provide illegal documents? And I believe patients have rights to know about their diagnosis to be clearly written and rights to know about the treatment provided. Here, we pay for the treatment you provide and you have responsibility to give all necessary document When you are not supposed to write the prescription , response it gently, instead of arguing with the patients its not about after asking for prescription, sunitha's behaviour is actually rude even before that which can be clearly seen in the comment why does the management and doctor does not step forward to accept the mistake you have done and correct it in future....instead , accusing the patients itself.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Very worst behavior of Sunitha sivakumar. I've never visited such a hospital ever. The doctor is not at all giving any respect to patients and attenders. Patients visit hospital for service and treatment, but she is pretending to say we have very big issue for simple health issue and talking about unnecessary things. And giving unnecessary test reports to take for huge bills. Also normal patients will get BP and heart attack after having 10 minutes conversation with her. She is treating patients like a animal and unnecessarily talking about educated and uneducated. We visit hospital if we are not well.but after going to treatment with Sunitha, I'm now admitted in hospital due to depression and stress. And I'm totally devastated.she is mentally harassing the patients. She is just taken me to cancer level for simple issue. She is fooling the innocent patients. She is showing her doctor superiority and not at all giving space and time for patients to talk about their illness. She is very much stubborn and adamant as it is her own hospital. She is showing more attitude like " I'm a doctor and I'm the superiority of all profession ". She is not even giving basic respect to other profession. A doctor is being respected by other profession. But why not doctor is giving respect to other profession. I want this review to be taken to the chairman of the hospitals vision and to sunitha before deleting it. If this review is being deleted by the hospital management, this issue will be taken taken forward to the medical council. My kind request for all to not visit and consult sunitha. She is not Even worried and concerned about patient health, she will be the reason for patients health issue. But I need to appreciate the Staffs and nurses out there. They are very kind towards patient and answering to all the queries. They are being kind and patience even though they are surrounded by a toxic doctor. She is dominating the staffs with her superiority. I visited the hospital after being fooled by the Google reviews
