I Visited him when i was on Manali trip with wife. My wife got sick. He was avail upto 10PM at night. On first day he found low on BP & she suffered from vomiting due to food poisoning and gave Saline and few multivitamin, antibiotics for 2 hours. Charged lil bit heavy since we are Tourist. He is soft spoken though . But still next day she was not recovered and still continues having vommiting. He changed medicine again and gave saline in morning too. Still whole day she had the same feeling. No recovery. Third day we were going back to Home long travel by car. So i requested for Injection antibiotics. We took the same and wife got recovered within 4 hours and she is like nothing happened. So whenever you visit him ask for injection not saline. Take antibiotics+ multivitamin. Thats it. SAVE THE PENNY. Coz i spent 4k on this Tip from my side. Enjoy your trip. Happy journey guys.

During our visit to Manali, my wife suffered with acute asthma attack on 7th May 2023, initially we thought with the medicine she took will help her, but she had worst night of her life. On 8th morning I enquired with Fogghills Cottage manager about a physician who can treat her. They referred Dr. RK Thakur, I called him and briefed him about my wife's condition and came fully prepared. First he checked her Oxygen levels which showed below 60. This level indicated that she needed to be moved to ICU and kept on Oxygen, but he nebulised her, gave required steroid and antibiotics injections and started other medications, after nebulising her oxygen levels increased to 82. Finally by evening she felt better. We are really thankful to his services and quick decision and action which saved my wife. I think if any other doctor would have operated and acted to encash the opportunity. Dr. Thakur is a true saviour. I n my family were in Manali last week when my daughter n mom fell ill. I was very worried n then I met Dr. Thakur. Amazing guy n amazing aura that he has. Made it so simple for us. He not only cured by Mom n daughter but also boosted is with confidence that both of them will be alright n v can travel wherever v need. Had a wonderful time in Manali. During my recent visit to Manali, we were suffering from Omitting and dysentery and related problems. Dr. Thakur personally came to our place of stay and administered the medicines. Extended his all supports. Next day too he came over there and halted for 2 and half hour to ensure cure of our problems. It was not with an interest to earn money but as a service to the visitors. He charged only nominal fees. I can not forget him at any point of my life. His medicines were so effective, which has given immediate remedy to our problems. I dream a day the other doctors follow his foot prints.

Dr Thakur made our difficult time in Manali easy. He came to visit Hotel on one request, cured us well and made us ready to travel for 10 hrs to Chandigarh. He is really nice doctor and takes good care

I had been to Manali in the month of April, my son had been suffering from continuous Diarrhea. Doctor gave excellent medicine and he was very supportive. Within a day my son cured from diarrhea.
