Racist Dr and receptionist against foreigners. My fiance phoned up this morning to book me an appointment for a check up at 10:30. Appointment was booked and I travelled to Mapusa and when the receptionist saw that I was a foreigner she told me that the Dr wasn't there. We explained that we phoned this morning and had an appointment but she only kept saying that Dr Ratna wasn't there. We waited outside and watched as two other people went inside. Then my mom came and came to know that Dr Ratna was in and had chosen not to see me because I am a white foreigner. The receptionist also claimed that it wasn't Ratna that it was a dentist that was in. Which would be illegal at they are gynac and OB place. Receptionist and Dr Ratna are both rude, racist and liars. Extremely unprofessional and inhumane treatment.

First of all, the name and phone number given here are of a female doctor but in fact another male doctor would attend you. They charge exorbitantly assuring that all necessary help and support will be extended. But once you visit is over, no one bothers to pick up the call. If you for any reason have to ask for any document or report, the receptionist would say the mobile doesn't support WhatsApp and will have to go to clinic physically for the same. Extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. Please choose to visit a clinic which is more trustworthy and has a brand. Here you can't expect any standardisation. They don't even have basic equipment or tools to diagnose properly.

Dr Ratna is a very good gynaec.I had my little one delivered in her hands. She is very understanding and makes you very comfortable.I enjoyed my pregnancy journey with her. God bless her always.

Dr Ratna is an amazing and God send doctor. She takes time to listen to the health concerns and respond appropriately with information..Its been a long time since I last met her but i am confident that she can handle any health concerns to the best of her ability . My best wishes to her and will definitely catch up with her when I am down in Goa.

My experience during my pregnancy with Dr. Ratna Pednekar was really good. During my first visit itself my anxiety, fear about pregnancy were alleviated to a great extent. Her cool and calm nature was quite encouraging to me.she does not treat her patient only with medicine but also with advice regarding food,sleep and exercise etc. After my delivery her role dint end there but continued her visits for next few days in the hospital and helped me to recover from the initial stress and weakness. At the end I and my husband felt that we made a wise decision of consulting Dr.Ratna Pednekar. Everything went normal throughout my pregnancy. Accompanied my friend to this clinic to get herself checked. We were the first to arrive so we waited till the doctor came. The lady at the reception really got on my nerves. She treated us like some street kids. She had problem with the way my friend was seated who was in pain. The most nerve wrecking part was when she told me to remove the shades from my head before entering the doctors room. What's it got to do with my friends treatment?? The doctor is really sweet and she listened patiently to her problems but the lady at the front desk should really learn how to treat people.
