After gol bladder operation of my wife she is facing problem for infection on neval portion. I visited Dr. Purnendu Bhowmik for the treatment of my wife and the treatment is going on for a long period regarding remove of infection and thereafter umbilical hernia operation (laser micro sergery) have been made by Dr. purnendu Bhowmik on 20/09/23. I am very much satisfied for treatment and operation. He is a fantastic Dr. as well as very good human being.

0 star. Fraud doctor. Will charge unnecessary huge amount from you and yet doesn't know his job well. A tiny operation became a nightmare for our family due to wrong treatment and faulty stitch. Think before visiting and wasting your time and money.

A true money grubber! My mother visited him for suspected varicose veins (ulcer in lower left leg) treatment and the experience was as follows, Day 1: Appointment was at 9am, doctor arrived at 9.45am, did not bother looking at the troubled area, prescribed 'Doppler Test' right away for both legs, to be done at Suraksha Diagnostics - Salt Lake, same place where he practices. Total time with the doctor for this appointment was 5-7 minutes. [Fees Rs1000] Day 2: Appointment was at 10am, doctor arrived at 10.20am. Took a careless glance at the 'Doppler Test' (worth Rs 8800) results and declared them incorrect & asked to be redone from another location outside Suraksha. When questioned what was wrong, denied a response and suggested a laser surgery for both legs (worth Rs 1.2 lacs for each leg). All of this without taking any diagnostic assessment of manually assessing the ailment. Again, on humbly requesting to validate the ask for surgery Dr. Purnendu blatantly started mocking the food habits of my parents and the expenses that he believes they generally incur towards them. Just to substantiate how his sweeping recommendation for a surgery is appropriate. Friends, I am from the era where doctors were heavily dependent on their medical knowledge & intuitive skills to diagnose and cure an ailment. But today it is difficult to find someone like that, more so where we have vultures like Purnendu diminishing the nobility of the profession.

We attended the Emergency first for removal of item from the foot and we have been referred to Dr Purnendu Bhowmik next day. We consulted him and he brought out the small piece of glass that went inside the right foot. While doing so, he took great care and ensured that no other items left inside. Moreover, he suggested for follow up after 5 days which I went through and he again took the pain to check the portion very carefully and came to conclusion that nothing remained inside. Very minimal dosage of medicine has been given and I am very much satisfied with his treatment and humbleness.

He is the most fraud person i have ever heard of... and shame to you iris hospital.... How he be so reckless he is basically playing with lives... if he cannot do the work of a proper doctor then he should surrender.... He have to apologise publicly and claim his fault and should refer my brother the proper consultation
